Welcome to 57 Gateway Getaway! This newly remodeled and cozy home offers the perfect retreat for your Door County adventure. With 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, this charming rental provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for up to four guests.
We love our family dogs and welcome yours too! Your well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. This property allows one dog under 30 pounds. There is a fee of $45 per dog/ per night, collected separately and approximately one week before your check-in date.
The interior of the property has been tastefully designed with modern touches and a warm ambiance. The living area features a Smart TV with streaming services, allowing you to unwind and catch up on your favorite shows after a day of exploration. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. Plus, a washer and dryer are available for your convenience, ensuring you can pack light and always have fresh clothes ready for your next adventure.
Located just north of Sturgeon Bay in the quaint town of Institute, this getaway offers easy accessibility to the various sites and attractions located on both sides of the Door Peninsula. Whether you're interested in exploring the natural beauty of Peninsula State Park, indulging in local cuisine and wine tasting in Fish Creek, or taking a leisurely stroll along the sandy shores of Whitefish Dunes State Park, you'll find it all within a short drive from your doorstep.
After a day of adventure, retreat to the peace and quiet of 57 Gateway Getaway. Enjoy a glass of wine on the outdoor patio, taking in the serene surroundings and reflecting on the memories made. The property's location in Institute provides a tranquil and idyllic setting, away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns, yet still within easy reach of all the attractions that Door County has to offer.
This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.

Kitchen Amenities:
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and a blender.
A traditional coffee maker, Keurig and coffee bean grinder are provided.
Also available are pots, pans, tea kettle, a mini waffle maker, grill utensils, baking sheets, dishes, utensils, glassware and kitchen towels.

Provided:
• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
• We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue.
• We supply one each of travel size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash per full bathroom.
• Due to health and safety guidelines made by the health department, all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.
Surrounding Area:
The Town of Institute is a small community consisting of residential homes and the Institute Saloon, while the Town of Sevastopol (across the road) offers a newly updated town recreation area that has tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, and a playground.
Close by dining options include: The Mill Supper Club, Institute Saloon, Valmy Happy Hour, The Hitching Post, Donny's Glidden Lodge (on Lake Michigan with fantastic views), and Door County Coffee and Tea Co.
57 Gateway Getaway is near the Door County Adventure Center, Cave Point County Park, Clark Lake Beach, Whitefish Dunes State Park, Door 44 Winery, Cherry Hills Golf Course, Peninsula Winery, Kurtz Coral, Open Door Bird Sanctuary and more. The Farm is less than 2 miles south of the property.
