I stayed with friends at the Cabin in the Woods. The property is exactly as described, everything worked perfectly and we had a great time.  During our stay there was a snow storm that blocked the road that lead to the cabin. We called Simple Life Rentals and they solved it immediately. I absolutely recommend booking with them. 

My partner and I had a fantastic weekend in door county while staying here. A cozy and well kept spot with a beautiful view of the lake. We were there during pumpkin patch and it was a ton of fun. 

The Cabin in the Woods was relaxing, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed walks with our dog in the area parks, and are grateful for our hosts providing ideal accommodations for enjoying Door County in the winter.

we had a great time at this cozy cabin in the woods. The house has everything you need for a weekend getaway. It's an ideal, secluded location between Egg Harbor and Stergun Bay... where pretty much everything we went to for activities with the kids, lunch, and dinner... were all 5-25min drives.  

We loved our VRBO. The place sits in a quiet setting among beautiful trees. Our cabin had plenty of room to sit quietly or sit at a long table playing games that were made available to us. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook. Also the comfy beds were perfect. Two clean bathrooms allowed us to get ready without bumping elbows. Entry into the VRBO was simple. If we ever travel to Door County again, we'd love to stay here!

The "Cabin in the Woods" at Egg Harbor, WI, was a beautiful spot and a nice place. Due to high winds in the area, we arrived to no power, which did come back on within an hour of our arrival. It was off briefly on Monday morning, too. However, this was beyond anyone's control. Thanks for providing a great stay for us.

Cabin was beautiful, spacious and very well taken care of. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay here again. Communication was easy and quick. 

Second year staying at the cabin in the woods, we all enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Perfect place for a small group, very spacious and had a campfire outside as well which was nice.

A beautiful home situated in the wilderness of the iconic Door County WI, who could ask for more. Our family enjoyed the solitude of the woods surrounding this beautiful cabin. It is so peaceful and serene, with wildlife like deer, fawns, squirrels, and birds making their occasional graceful appearance. The fire pit offered a couple evenings of fantastic flames and glowing embers taking our thoughts to another ralm. With the open kitchen and living room area, it made for a perfect gathering place for great breakfasts, suppers, and hanging out. The deck also provided us with relaxing chill time, with a view into mother natures best. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it will be etched in our memories forever as we had a local photographer come to our location to take family pics against the beautiful backdrop!

The Cabin in the Woods is an excellent base camp for Door County excursions. Don't let the name mislead you - this property is definitely not a cabin - it's a home! It's spacious, clean, and comfortable with excellent amenities, and the surrounding forest makes the setting wonderfully private. Words don't do this home justice - it's as nice as, if not nicer, than the photos show. The great room and the deck are perfect spots to soak up nature and plan the day's activities. The loft adjacent to the enormous primary bedroom suite on the second floor is a cozy spot to hang out. Truth be told, we were sad when it was time to leave. This property is one of the few pet-friendly rentals available in Door County during the off-season, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to return again next year.

Had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at the Cabin.

We knew Door County in mid-March wouldn't have a ton open so it was important to find a great place to stay. We enjoyed this location - very clean and pretty secluded. 

My daughter and I recently had a 4 day stay at "The cabin in the woods". The cabin was very clean and well kept with nice decor. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Plenty of room for dog walks and hikes in the woods. Excellent communication for the rental. We will definitely come stay again! Thank you!!!

We were very impressed with this chalet in the woods. The accommodations were even more impressive than advertised. The queen bedroom is much more lovely than pictured online. There were also additional amenities we did not expect including an outdoor grill, both a Keurig and standard coffee maker, and a pile of games an puzzles. We were treated to fall splendor from every window and entertained by frolicking deer and a black squirrel preening itself on a limb just feet from the deck. There is also a nice loop track perfect for a stroll or jog. I am so glad I chose this property! I brought Mom and Dad on this trip and they were thrilled too! Thank you for making this such a special getaway.

Cabin in the woods is essentially a new home, so things are in great shape. The wooded "loop" that the home is on is about a mile in length and makes a nice walk in the woods, in our case, it was a nice walk with our dogs. Being in the woods, you won't see a sunrise or a sunset, but there is a boat launch park about 10-15 minutes away, where you can get a great view of a sunset. We made the trip late afternoon (we were there at the end of October) and sat in the car, caught some sunshine while we read and waited... and were treated to a spectacular sunset that evening. One suggestion I would offer to the owners is that you have a great porch, but it would be even nicer if the porch had a gate of some type. That would make it possible for visitors to let their dogs out to join them on the porch and not worry about them running off.  I mention this as so many people have adopted dogs during the pandemic that you have a large contingent of potential renters who now have a four footed family member. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet this home offers while being reasonably close to the Main Street Market in Egg Harbor.

We had a wonderful time at this propriety! The fire pit was great for fall weather, and the environment was just what we were looking for. We loved our stay.

We loved the house! It worked really well for both us and our daughter's family. The kitchen, dining area, and living room great room was perfect. Everything was nice decorated and very clean. The setting in woods was beautiful, and the wall of windows just seemed to bring the woods inside. We used the loft as a play area for grandkids, which was great to contain all the toys; and yet, have them close by. We'd highly recommend this property.

This was by far one of the best places to stay!!! So clean and had everything you needed for our stay. We wished we could habe stayed longer so we are already planning to book again for next year. Had the best time ever with our family.

Relaxing stay in the aptly named cabin. We loved being away from the touristy areas but in close enough proximity that we could reach any part of Door County with a short drive. Lots of materials in the cabin about places to eat and things to do which were very helpful! Spent a lot of time on the large deck enjoying the setting ! 

This is a very nice house in the woods. A great way to get away but still be close to the things you need and want to do (grocery store, parks, and all that Door County has to offer). I recommend this house and would stay here again.

We enjoyed this clean, comfortable cabin in the woods! It was a great location, secluded and had nearly everything we needed. Spacious deck, great fire pit and new grill were all enjoyed by our family. We did have occasional connectivity issues with the internet/cable but that is to be expected in more remote locations . Definitely would recommend this property.

Outstanding getaway!! The only "negative" was no dishwasher but not enough to downgrade. Absolute peace and quiet. Comfoetable space. Very relaxing!!

We had an excellent experience at this home. It is secluded and quiet, yet close to all Door County attractions. The cabin was spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor spaces were welcoming too. Plenty of room to accommodate 6 adults and a toddler. We would definitely book here again.
