The location It was dirty. One bed was full of sand. We had to clean the sheets. Another had popcorn in it.. Main screen door screen was broken. Trash cans had new bags but overflowed trash was still in bin carrier. It was clear the property was not being maintained. There was a lot of mechanical noise on sat night. Sounded like seals or whales.. woke people up and went on all night. One guest thought someone was having an asthma attack. I reached out to Simple Life on Sunday and the response was I should I let them know sooner. I responded back saying dont put this on us as we paid good money with an expectation it would be clean and well cared for. The next message was them asking for a review. Clearly disconnected communication. As I told them I would give them a shot to do right by us before I posted a review.

Great central location with easy beach access—loved walking along the shoreline. Plenty of space for 5 adults and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The kitchen could use a deep cleaning and better organization of inventory (missing a few wine glasses, cracked platter). A few more reading lamps in the living room would be helpful during the nighttime . Overall, a great stay!

What an amazing location. Wonderful boardwalk to the beach and a view of Lake Michigan. We were there with three couples to enjoy some fall hikes and leaves and had a great time. House is very well stocked with anything you might need to cook or have fun. Would definitely come again.

House was beautiful! Stunning. Exactly like the pictures! The best part for me was the private beach. We rented this house just for my small family 5 of us total. It was way to much house for just us 5.. but it was also perfect. We felt just like we were at home. Will definitely want to come back and stay again! Worth every penny!

We really enjoyed spending thanksgiving here! Plenty of room in the house for the kids to play, and the frozen beach was pleasant to visit briefly. This place would be amazing in the summer!

This was our annual pilgrimage to the quiet side. We were 3 adults along with a 10 and 12 year old. This large home makes a perfect home base for Door County, has beautiful water views, a large sandy dune area and a wonderful sandy beach. The beach is walkable and has a deck and bench overlooking it. Everyone greatly appreciated having the kayaks and paddleboard available- this added so much to our enjoyment of the lake! The outdoor shower was a fantastic amenity & really helped keep sand out of the house. And the ping pong and foosball tables were fun. There were a couple negatives- we had an issue with drain or fruit flies throughout the house. (We did not leave food or dishes out). Using the dryer requires throwing the breaker switch & replugging in the electric cord to get it going, which I discovered too late in our stay to mention to management. We would have liked a patio umbrella & more comfortable deck furniture. Otherwise we all had a wonderful time here and greatly enjoyed our visit.
