This is our second year renting the property for a family reunion and again we couldn't have been happier. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was clean in the house, and the kids love the basement bunkroom with foosball and pingpong. We used the paddleboards and kayaks and spent a ton of time on the beach, which had perfect sand for the kids to play in. Lots of small nice touches like the outdoor shower on the lower deck that has warm water to rinse off before coming inside, and the second fridge/freezer in the basement for any overflow from the kitchen fridge. We had one hiccup with the keyless door entry upon check-in this year but once that was taken care of no issues whatsoever during our stay. The only suggestion for improvement I heard during the week was that the smaller upstairs bedroom could use a mirror and trash can, which is pretty trivial. Love the location and the property and can't wait to come back next year.
We had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable for our group of 14. The boardwalk and beach made us feel like we were at the ocean. The sunrises were beautiful. We would highly recommend a stay here.
The home at 7095 All Creatures Lane in Baileys Harbor was perfect for our family reunion, which included 16 guests ranging from 10 to 50. The home is spacious and clean, and the location right on Lake Michigan is spectacular and secluded. It's about a 15 minute drive across the Door Penninsula to some of the more touristy towns. Communication with the hosts was excellent. I highly reocmmend this vacation rental.
We had a large group of 4 families and had a great stay! A super comfortable home with the beautiful location of woods and great lake. We'd love to come back!
We stayed at this location with 3 other families. The house was very clean and cleaning supplies were readily available for those wanting to use. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen towels, dishes, soap, etc. There were more than enough towels for the size of our group and the small personal hygiene gifts was a sweet touch. Now to the best part- The private beach property. It was amazing, from the long boardwalk down to the beach to the seating area available near the beach. This home provided the relaxing, vacation atmosphere we were hoping for. During the day both children and adults used the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided by the owner. At night we built campfires and relaxed to sound of Lake Michigan. The water temperature was cool and the waves were too rough the last days but the property is near to many other beaches and bike trails to entertain you. One of the beach chairs was broke but one of the handy men on our trip took care of it. This was a much needed vacation, thank you for sharing your home!
