Fish Creek Farmhouse

This place was exactly what our family needed for our visit to Door County! Perfect location near the park entrance and comfortable accommodations. Our family has stayed in these units growing up and it was really nice to come back. Hosts were great communicators throughout.

This is authentic Door County, and you will love it! It's a step back in time, and exactly what you should want from DC! The kitchen and bathroom have been updated which is such a bonus but the character of the farmhouse is maintained. Highly recommend renting farmhouse and silo at the same time. Location is incredible!

Great location, cute place. The bedrooms were actually bigger than they look in the pictures which was a nice surprise because we came with two pack n plays and they fit easily in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Good size for 4 adults a toddler and a baby. However it was unfortunately not as clean as we expected. There was a pair of dried up contacts on the floor of one of the bedrooms, hairs lying around, pretty dusty, some cobwebs, stains on sheets. I don’t know if this was just a one off because no other reviews mentioned this so maybe this isn’t typical. It was also very damp, could use a dehumidifier. The bedding felt like we were camping in the morning. Overall we still enjoyed our stay but those things kind of threw us, we’ll be staying somewhere else next time.

Great location right next to the state park. The house was very charming, but felt a bit tight for 5 adults (noise travels very easily even on tiptoes so light sleepers be warned). Also fyi, the water is from a well (we weren’t aware so did not bring a water jug from home). All in all the stay was fine- we just felt we had gotten better value elsewhere in prior door county trips.

We were thinking we had the silo too or that was where we were staying. Should not have silo in picture. State that there are two properties to rent. The house is nice but the silo was the selling point. The price was high for two nights but it is a resort area.

The host responded to any of our inquiries quickly. The location is great; right next to Peninsula State Park, easy to walk to Fish Creek. Fish Creek has everything you would want to enjoy your stay. Very roomy for three people; could easily accommodate more.

Great location. Had an issue with shower not draining and host sent help to fix immediately. We were there during July and home was warm upstairs during the day. It did cool off at night but no air conditioning upstairs where you sleep so just be aware of that if it is an issue for you and you like it cool. Clean and safe location. Check in was a breeze. Small TV and older furnishings as it is a historic home. Easy walk to bike rental and food. Walkable to shops in town. We had a great time.

This is a great little house. Probably one of the best Air BnBs there is. Cozy, but not crowded for a family of 4. Rustic, high quality, antique furniture and bed linens, tasteful funky decorations. No "Live Laugh Love" stuff (yuk). Nothing too fancy and everything you need. Peaceful porch in front with rockers, another comfortable peaceful porch in the back. Comfortable beds--though the day bed is screaming for a foam topper. Within walking distance to everything in Fish Creek and proximity to Peninsula State Park could NOT be better. I almost hate to leave a stellar review because I want to come back. I feel that I have found my Fish Creek home!!!! Agency is extremely responsive and helpful. Couldn't be happier.

Easy parking, easy access. Liked that it was set back and not on the main road and right next to the entrance to the state park. Walkable to all things Fish Creek. Cute old house with lots of character and charm.

Lovely spot, very cute place with anything you might need Wifi was a little spotty, but we didn't need it much since it's close to many things to do, both in town and in nature $50/night seems like a steep price to bring a dog, decided to board him instead

Awesome place for 5 adults and 2 dogs to stay for a few nights. The location really close to peninsula state park and walkable to most businesses in Fish Creek. The only downside is the air conditioner didn’t cool down the upstairs well on the hottest day we were there. Overall it was a really reasonable and clean place to stay.

Great host! The Airbnb was super clean, and they were stocked with any kitchen dish or utensil you could possibly need. They had a full, clean linen closet. Overall, the place was spotless and in a super convenient location.

Property was well kept, small and simple - just what we wanted. The property has no central air, but that did not matter...the fans in the rooms kept things just right - we slept very well. The house is old, but simple and tidy. The small air conditioner downstairs was good, we ran that most of the day while we were gone so the house was at a good temp in the evening.
