Running’s Lost Lakehouse

Running's Lost Lakehouse

2 Bedrooms 1.5 Bathrooms Sleeps 6 Rhinelander

Enjoy Lost Lake and beautiful views from this relaxing cottage with modern amenities in the town of Sugar Camp! Built in 2014 on the grounds that used to be Running's Campground, guests will enjoy the quiet lake and peaceful, relaxing vibe. This open-concept home features a full kitchen and dining area, living room, TV with Roku (No cable or live broadcast), 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, 1.5 bathrooms, plus laundry. Extra guests can sleep on the oversize couches in the living room. Guests can enjoy the outdoors at the sandy beach, grilling, and using the bonfire pit on the property. Sip your morning coffee on the large porch while taking in the beautiful lake shore.

Bring your paddleboards and kayaks--this is the perfect lake for them. While the lake allows motors, there's no traffic on this lake. If you want some hustle and bustle, the Three Lakes Chain and Sugar Camp Chain are a close drive and there's room to bring your boat and trailer in the driveway. Fishing is GREAT on Lost Lake as well if you want to put your boat in here. There are large Northern and lots of pan fish to be caught.

In the winter months, enjoy a fresh northwoods snowfall, head out to the lake to for some ice fishing or hit the trails with your snowmobile. This is a great cabin with lake access. The amenities are great and the cabin is recent and we had a good communication with the managers.

We had an amazing time on our weekend getaway. The house was very nice and it was just steps aways from the lake. It was so peaceful at night you could even hear the loons singing. We would recommend this place to anyone that just needs calm getaway!

The lake was amazing and secluded. Rented paddle boards and kayaks from Eagle River and played for 5 days on the water. Nice fire pit and outdoor picnic table surrounded by woods. There is a road, but it was not busy at all, no worries with kids running around. Bring a fishing pole!

Very nice cottage, with lake access close by across the street. Good size for our family of 4 since the kids shared the 2nd bedroom. Enjoyed the fire pit and the lake, full kitchen was well supplied And house was clean. Instructions for locking the back door would be helpful - it's easy to unlock though. Even though no AC we were comfortable with the fans (although it wasn't above 78 degrees). Nice front porch as well to sit and take in the view.
