Great place to stay!

The home was well equipped in the kitchen for meals. Plenty of spices available which was a bonus. Very large firepit was perfect for evening bonfires. Plenty of linens and towels and access to laundry was ideal. Rooms had plenty of space for sleeping our group of 11 and closet space was perfect to store luggage. More hamgers would be nice. Wasnt sure how the fridge icemaker worked but brought our own icemaker so it wasnt a big deal. Used the kayaks which was a nice perk. Dining room overhead light didnt work and there were a few large black ants noticed in the basement. Suggest a few fold up chairs forbaround the dining table to accommodate larger groups like ours, we ended up using the 3 seasons room chairs soit worked. Excellent communication with owners for early check in. Would recommend to others for a family gathering location.

Great house and even better views! We loved relaxing and catching up with friends right on the water. We didnt have to go into town to find activities to do this location had it all; games, Kayaks, waterfront for fishing and a bonfirento watch the sunset. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway!

This place is incredible.

Wow! We are in love with Maison Rouge! When we walked in, my 7 year old grandson said, "This place is Paradise!" He wasn't far off; the house had all the bells and whistles; soft comfy beds, plenty of towels and hot water, gorgeous cooks kitchen, living room, And den, quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, and 3 1/2 bathrooms . The view and location were amazing, and only 20 minutes from the University of Greenbay, the downtown, and 30min. from Lambeau Field. We were a family of 7, ages 7 to 70, and everyone could spread out and have plenty of room. I would recommend the Marchand Market. It's a small grocery store that carries everything including booze. We recommend Black Sheep Bar & Grill and their gorgeous deck, and Millions Crab Boil as good family restaurants. Also good for kids young and old, Hinterlands Brewery, next to Lambeau field, so much fun!!

House was beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for a family of 12. Short drive for the Packers Game.

We arrived on the Friday evening of the blizzard just before Christmas. Loved that we could get through the street and that there was garage space for us. The floor of the garage was VERY slippery, so even the young ones were VERY careful. There is a door at the back of the garage leading to the stairway up to the front door, and with a little shoulder from the outside, we got it open and were able to shorten the walk to the stairs with our stuff in 40MPH winds off the lake. The street had been plowed again by the next morning, so getting out was not an issue. The Home was lovely. (I think there should be more dinnerware for a house that sleeps so many!) Nice to have a half bath off the living area; all baths were large and very nice. The heat kept up with the below-zero temps, and the electric/gas (?) fireplace was lovely. Someone came and plowed the driveway and cleared the walk and stairs on Sunday. Brussels is only 10-12 minutes away for grocery and gas. Would have loved some holiday decor, but know we changed to this house at the last minute due to the snow. Thanks for making it happen!

Maison Rouge is a beautiful modern home on Green Bay. We found everything to be exactly as described on simpleliferentals.com. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. We also loved using the kayaks and watching gorgeous sunsets from the lakeside patio. Our family included 5 adults and 4 teenager.

He had a lovely experience celebrating our 40 Wedding Anniversary with our 4 daughters and their families. The property was very family friendly. We made the most of the yard and patio/firepit. We helped the little ones to fly kites one day.  Many outings with the kayaks. Children did not get in to the water, but enjoyed the park nearby. We prepared all of our meals on site. Overall we found the kitchen to be well equiped. Worked very well to manage buffet style family meals. Stove, oven and microwave were not working the evening we arrived. I believe a message was left with Guest Services. The following morning we receieved a call and learned that there was a reset button near the pantry. It might be helpful to have this information in the guest resource manual. We called Guest Services for a few things. They were exceptionally pleasant. Everyone we encountered in town in this quaint communtiy was very friendly.

We booked this vacation home for our family in November over the week/weekend my daughter was getting married in New Franken. From the beginning, my goal was to have enough space for everyone to all be together and this place did not disappoint. First - the location was perfect. Close to everything we needed and yet we felt like we were just far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the quiet and serene parts of Door County. Second - Beautifully decorated and well-appointed, thoughtful amenities, beds that will give you the best night's sleep EVER and views from the property that will live in your memory long after your trip is over. This property was, by far, the best rental we have ever experienced and we are excited to return again to enjoy everything Door County has to offer. The photos do not do it enough justice - you have to be there to experience it for yourself. The waterfront fire pit alone (with the beautiful Door County colors at sunset) makes the rental worth every penny.

Loved our stay at this house! The four bedrooms can accommodate a lot of people. It is very modern, clean and comfortable. I will certainly consider it again when I return to the area.

This house is fantastic!!! Every room was so clean! Beds, linens and towels so comfy! Great views of the bay! Probably the best house I've rented on VRBO. 2 small very minor things, the keypad to get in the house was finicky and the couches on the main floor should be replaced in my opinion. Overall, we loved this house and want to rent it again this summer!!!

This is a beautiful home. The view is wonderful also. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived and the sheets were nice and soft. Having access to the garage was a real plus.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home and location. It was pretty chilly outside, but snuggled up to a roaring fire by the bay both nights. There was plenty of space and privacy, with multiple sitting areas. We prepared all of our meals at the house, and found most of what we needed to do that. We could have used more silverware and a couple of large mixing/serving bowls, but other than that, the home was very nicely stocked.

Wonderful and clean place to stay. Fit all 11 of us comfortably. Such a nice, quiet area. incredible sunsets from the porch and fire pit area! Family wants to make it a yearly retreat!

Thank you for the use of the property. From the property listing and all the reviews, I felt I knew the property well before arriving, but it was even more! It was meticulously clean and comfortable and the attention to detail met our every need. We all felt the location was perfect for us. The view was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for more! Many memories were made this weekend and we'd love to return!

This home is better in person that in the pictures! Everything is kept up so nicely. We had a great weekend away. Spent most of our time outside by the lake and fire to be quite honest! Thank you so much!

Thank you Scott and Wendy for a wonderful time. The home and grounds were just amazing. The customer service and follow up from Scott and Wendy was exceptional and very appreciated. My entire family enjoyed everything and wonderful memories we made for years to come.    The only comment or susggestion we would like to share is in regards to the lack of a safe and convenient water access. My youngest grandchildren, ages 8yrs and 4 yrs could not fully enjoy the water as the rocks along the shore were treacherous to climb down and the rocks under the water were jagged and sharp. We grandson had a number of cuts on his feet as well as older members of my family did as well. Suggest having a small cleared beach area or a small pier.   Despite this, we were very impressed with everything and had a wonderful time! We had a great time at the house in Luxemburg. There was enough room for everyone to have their space but still be together. It wasn't very nice outside so we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit or outside sitting but we enjoyed time around the table and in the living room with the "fireplace" and easy access to the fridge and rest of the house. Everything was clean and there were enough starter supplies to get us through. The beds were comfortable and there was enough room for everyone to use the restrooms and get ready each morning! Thanks for a great space in a great part of the state.

This property is really nice. The kitchen is very well appointed. The rooms are very comfortable. The three car garage was a plus for us as the weather was rainy a part of our visit. The fire pit is very inviting as it sits right by the water. Sunsets were quite spectacular. This is a very nice home. Although it was not a problem for us, if your family has someone with disabilities, going up and down the stairs may present a challenge.

We stayed at Maison Rouge for an anniversary celebration, there were 11 of us and this house was perfect. Great open concept main level, huge deck to relax & watch the sunsets, large yard for playing games & beautiful backdrop for family photos. We were all looking forward to this get together for months & Maison Rouge did not disappoint! The property manager was so helpful & readily available throughout the entire booking process, to answer questions, change dates/times & any other issues that came up. Highly recommend & would love to enjoy another stay here.

We are so glad we chose the Maison Rouge as our vacation lake house getaway!! The house was well furnished with enough beds and a nice kitchen/ dining space for 6 adults and 6 kids. The backyard overlooking the lake was gorgeous and just the kind of escape our families were looking for!! House was terrific big garage an added bonus. Kayaks (3) we're really fun. Totally awesome sun sets and fire pit. Not really configured for swimming - had to go to nearby beach - dock access would be nice.

My stay was absolutely perfect. The house was clean and spacious, the views were unbelievable, and the yard was large and well-kept. Will definitely be returning to this spot!

Located 30 minutes from downtown Green Bay and 40 minutes to. Egg Harbor this vacation rental is in the perfect spot. Beautiful views of GB. Clean and spacious.
