Our stay was okay overall. The property was pretty clean and quiet. It is great for groups and close to the water. While the amenities list on VRBO included air conditioning, you needed to scroll down to the “House Truths” section to see that there is, in fact, no air conditioning. This is strange and deceptive. I suggest updating the amenities list to accurately reflect this. The fact that there is no AC is likely fine most of the time since you can open windows and use the fans at the property, but unfortunately we couldn’t during our stay because there was lots of wildfire smoke outside (AQI was well above 250 and we had a pregnant person in our group). This was complicated by the fact that the baseboard heaters were cranking when we arrived. It was in the mid 80s outside at the time. This was probably accidental but without a way to cool off the property we just lived with it. The property management company was responsive to our phone call and even offered to send someone out, but we were able to turn off the heating system ourselves. There is a small dock and it’s a short walk away but feels a bit wobbly. Many of the dishes weren’t very clean on our arrival, and there isn’t any cooking oil or spices other than salt and pepper so make sure to bring whatever you need to cook.

If the location wasn't on the lake it wouldn't be worth the money. The place feels outdated and uncared for; does not feel like someone's home rather a money grab. shower stains, the shower will either melt your skin off or freeze it. Doors are creeky and slam behind you and fireplace is unclear how to operate (unusable of our friend didn't already know how). The communication says to treat it like you're own home but the company treats it like a rental.

We had such a great stay! The place was super clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, and even lots of silverware in the kitchen. We used the kitchen, the grill, and the bonfire—it was perfect! The kids loved all the toys and games, though we couldn’t find the high chair. The TV and WiFi worked great too. There’s a fireplace, but we couldn’t get it to turn on and didn’t want to mess with it too much. The location was beautiful—right on the water with amazing views. Plus, there are a bunch of places nearby that sell firewood. We loved it here and can’t wait to come back next year!

The sunsets were amazing and the pelicans were fun to watch also! There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and having 3 bathrooms was perfect for our multi-generational trip! The house was well stocked with pots and pans and plates. Fun games to play. The screened-in porch was a hit for game night. The lake was really low, so we weren’t able to fish from the dock. The lake was pretty much not accessible because of the low water depths and we weren’t able to fish either. The house does not have a/c, so plan accordingly. The fridge did not work properly either. Just something to think about before booking.

Loved the screened in porch. Very nice home, great view from the master bedroom. The only improvement would be to mow a path to the pier from the back yard and remow the path from the front yard to the pier. There was poison ivy on the path that was on the side yard.
