Welcome to Roo Retreat, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This beautiful home was recently remodeled and ready for your family getaway! Walk to the Kangaroo Lake beach located just 300 yards away, or take a quick 7-minute drive to downtown Baileys Harbor with lots of dining options, shopping and entertainment.
The home has 3 bedrooms, all on the same level. The primary bedroom includes a King bed and Smart TV and primary bathroom includes a walk-in shower, and a nice futon for an extra guest. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom includes 2 double beds.
The front yard has a porch with an outdoor patio set that's perfect for morning coffee. Enjoy the backyard during the evening roasting marshmallows around the firepit. Plenty of outdoor seating and furniture for your group!
*This is a quiet community with residential neighbors. This home is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.

A nice, relaxed, family retreat.

Nice and quiet place with and easy walk to kangaroo beach which is a super shallow closed off old boat launch that kids have lot of room to play in the water. Private lot that is quiet and has a nice firepit!

Very peaceful and nice house, great for a family or a small group. Fire pit and sunroom were perfect when the weather was nice and had lots of natural light throughout. Only thing I’ll say to be aware of is the water heater tank is definitely small so expect to take short showers, but that’s pretty typical of up north.

The house was fantastic and had everything we needed. It was a really easy walk over to swim in kangaroo lake. The house was spotlessly clean. We were happy to find toys and books for my niece who is 2 1/2. The master shower is a special treat, you don’t often see that many showerheads in one shower!! Appreciated, the stocked kitchen for cooking, and the big table for family meals. The bedrooms were all comfortable, clean and had ceiling fans. Awesome Nest system central AC to keep us cool and comfortable. The yard and fire pit are really nice. Great space to spend time outside with a little one. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable stay for our family vacation to Door County.
This was the perfect setting for our girls weekend. The home is adorable clean and well furnished.

Loved the master bathroom shower, fireplace, kitchen and fire pit! 30 minutes from Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Egg Harbor and Sturgeon Bay. Accomodated 4 adults and we all had a get time. The home was clean and wifi, cable access was fine.
Our stay at the Roo Retreat was everything we had hoped for. The highlights of the home are the beautiful master bathroom, the open space kitchen/family room with fireplace, the 3-seasons room and the outdoor fire-pit. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with family. House was as described in the listing and would absolutely rent from them again in the future.
Loved your place. Great location/well cared for property. Only negative was the TV/live channels access for sports programming. amazing shower in masterbath. Perfect fire pit for evening campfires. So peaceful. highly recommend.
The space In the home was maximized in a great way. The property is large and great for kids to play in. The furnishings were cute as well. The master bath was great as well.
We would stay at the Roo Retreat again in a heartbeat! The house is so cute inside and out. Our favorite parts were the spa-like master bath, king size bed in master bedroom, heated floors in both bathrooms, updated and fully-stocked kitchen and dining area, wood burning fireplace in the living room, lots of closet space, gorgeous wood floors, adorable reading lights in bedrooms 2 and 3, laundry room, large firepit in the backyard, I could go on and on! The location is great too - it's just a short drive or walk from the Coyote Roadhouse restaurant/bar and public access to Kangaroo Lake. We spent an entire day ice fishing, ice skating, and hiking on the lake. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back!
