For the large cleaning fee, I have to say I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the cabin and yard. There was dog poop on the deck, in the yard, and next to the water. The house was musty upon entering, and as someone who is sensitive and allergic to dust, I did find that I was coughing a lot during my stay. We decided to use the fans provided to help circulate air, and found them to be completely covered with dust. We took one apart and spent a lot of time cleaning it as best we could, but it was still dusty. Walking around barefoot on the carpet in the cabin resulted in the bottoms of our feet being black with dirt. I understand that it’s a dog friendly house, but for what the cleaning fees were, I expected it to be clean, and it just wasn’t.

Very cute and cozy cabin. Water access was great. Bathroom was nice but maybe not the best fit for bigger guests or those with mobility issues. Excellent communication with the owners.

The house is stocked with all that you need in the kitchen, but I would suggest bringing a sharpened knife if you are planning to cook. The beds are comfortable and the cabin is incredibly quiet. We slept really well! If you are planning to work from this cabin, the wifi is a little slow (as expected for being so far away from downtown), so just a heads up about that! Overall we had a wonderful time and will be back again. It was the perfect stay.

The location was beautiful and the time overall was good. However, when we walked in the place smelled like wet dog. Also, the posting stated that the porch was screened in but in fact it was not - all windows. Also the owner kept sending messages about if we had a dog and how there was an additional fee because of it. We reached out to the owners the first night and they did get back to us, confirming we did not have a dog and about the smell but ignored the question about the screened in porch. Again, stay was fine but the overall experiences was very... medium.

Property was just like the reviews said it was. Yes the bathroom is small but it's bigger than the one in our travel trailer. The deck was great. For the time we were at the cabin most of it was spent out there. The cabin is within a half hour drive from anywhere on the peninsula, it was clean and even though there are neighbors on both sides sides it's quite private. We liked it a lot.

My wife and I stayed @ Stones Throw two nights in celebration of her 60th birthday. We found the cabin to be very cozy and had all of the things we needed. The highlight is the million dollar view, absolutely stunning! The patio faces west overlooking the water and it is fantastic (and sleeping to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore is soooo peaceful.) We're already looking at dates to return. Thanks!

I came up with my husband and two young adult children and the cabin was just right for us. We really loved the screened porch and the deck above the shore. The first night we experienced unusually high winds I think-it looked and sounded more like the ocean than a bay! It was a cool experience. The sunsets were gorgeous every night! Very convenient to drive to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, and Bailey's Harbor. The only small suggestions I would have would be to put some hooks somewhere for jackets, because it was chilly and we were always putting them on and off, and maybe arrange the cupboards so there is at least a shelf or two for food items-most of ours just sat on the counter which already had limited space. But overall we loved it and would definitely come again!

Very nice and peaceful. Cabin was cute, clean, and cabins on both sides were quiet and respectful. View was beautiful. Used to camp in Penninsula Park many years ago. So it was really nice to return to the area and stay in such a relaxed place.

We were very happy with the cabin. The setting could not be beat!  Everything was in good shape. The only issue we had was the light on the screened in patio. It was not working, so I tried to change light bulbs. While unscrewing the old one,t he light flashed on at one point, but I was not able to get the light to stay on with it. The socket seems to be a bit broken. I screwed in a new one we found on sight and it is just not screwing in right and it would not turn one. So some attention is needed there. Otherwise no issues. The only advice for your instructions would be to make them a bit clearer. The refences for arrive to your other cabin, only confused things. If we were just directed to the address it would have been less confusing. Also, it took me a while to find the garbage bins, I guess it was not clear exactly what side the other place you had to go was, but I found it. Thanks for a great weekend! It was really relaxing.
