Stony Shore Cabin

It was a great space for what we needed and great location with things to do that were 10-15 mins away! It was a short visit so we weren’t able to partake in the amenities (such as the fire pit and grill) but it was great to have the space for that. Great place to catch the beautiful sunset overlooking the lake!

We enjoyed the property, especially being so close to the water to listen to the waves.

This was the perfect place for our family of 4 + our dog. We loved the historic/rustic feel of the place with some nice updates (new flooring, updated bathroom and a/c). We used the fire pit every night and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful setting! We enjoyed some of the many games at the house. The rocky beach was a great place to swim and use the paddle board that we brought with us. (Wear water shoes as the rocks are a bit slippery.) We also loved the screen porch. This is a special place!

We loved our stay. The location was perfect for us—quieter than being right in the thick of things, but still easily accessible to the whole peninsula. Also, being right on the water was amazing! We got great use of the screened porch, deck right on the water, and the lovely yard with nice charcoal grill and fire pit. The cabin is small, but incredibly clean, and worked great for us! Highly recommend for a couple or small family. It was also perfect for our two small dogs as well.

We loved our stay in this home! Classic cozy door county cabin. The sun porch was great for eating meals or sitting and listening to the waves, we enjoyed swimming right out from the house (although it is very slippery as the host noted in advance), and everything was clean and well cared-for. We'd stay again!

Absolutely beautiful views of the bay. Great deck and nice water front location. The cottage is very charming and recently had some updates so we loved it even more. We were close to most places. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin is perfect. We loved it.

The cabin was quaint and well furnished. Extremely close to the water, so close that when we slept and left the windows open, you could hear the splashing of the waves. It is rather small but we were only there to sleep. The weather was perfect, the company was great and the cabin met all of our expectations.

This cabin was so cozy. This place is not only charming inside. The views are amazing. The private deck right on the water was probably my favorite. We sat there ever evening & watching the sunsets:)

My family and I just got back from a visit to door county. We spent 4 nights here at stony cabin. It's a quaint little spot right along the bay with great views. We enjoyed staying here with the kids making smores in the fire pit and grilling out and eating on the screened in porch. There is a land trust accross the road that was great for exploring and taking runs at night. It perfectly suited our needs and economical on the lake. Neighbors are very close but the thick trees make it apear secluded. The place was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

We had a great time at the cabin. Don't be surprised to hear from us in the future for a return. We love how quiet it is, off the beaten path. Perfect.

Stony Shore is a sweet liitle house. It was clean and comfortable. The beds and other furniture were very nice. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cookware. Towels for kitchen and bathroom were nice quality.   We especially enjoyed having our meals on the screened porch as we listened to the sound of the waves of Green Bay. The view of the bay was stunning. We loved how secluded and quiet Stony Shore is.

Very clean and quaint cottage with a nice locatin right on the water. We loved the separate deck close to the waters edge. recommendations would be to have comfortable seating in the screened in porch. Also some soft mattress pads on the beds that would also cover the waterproof ones. Other than that it's a nice cottage!

Our stay at Stony Shore was better than we (me, my wife and our 9-year old Brittany Spaniel) had anticipated it would be. The accommodations are ideal ... a rustic hand-built cabin (with pictures to prove that displayed on the walls) set in an idyllic wooded lot directly on Sturgeon Bay. The sound of the water lapping on the stony shore at the property's edge is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the simple things. We are definitely coming back!

Conveniently located and on a private lot, even though other cabins were nearby. Beautiful sunsets!

We loved our stay at Stony Shore! The sunset views can't be beat. Would highly recommend staying here. Clean and charming cabin with easy check-in/check-out process. Looking forward to returning one day!
