Lovely spacious home in a great location close to Fish Creek shops and restaurants and Peninsula state park. Minor issue that was quickly resolved. Communication was prompt and overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to others.

This is the second time I have stayed at this location. The home is convenient for our purposes (fishing) with a perfect size driveway if you have a boat. It has 2 bedrooms plus a loft with 4 single beds. Everything was clean and it has some basic kitchen items that one would expect. There is a dishwasher and a washer/dryer in the unit so that is convenient. Door county is pricey for rentals but this seems to be right in line with other places I looked at. All in all it was perfect for our needs. I would stay here again.

We had a good stay overall, but there are a few things worth noting. The space itself was roomy, and having two showers for our group of eight was very convenient. The beds were also comfortable, which we appreciated. The location was great and we loved how close we were to everything! That said, the cleanliness could have been better. We noticed dried urine on the side of the toilet and that the area around the shower, including the tile floor, looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in quite some time. The shower curtain in the second bath could also use an upgrade. It had visible stains and possible mildew on the inner shower liner. The place also had a musty smell upon arrival. Towels were limited (only one per person), and when we tried to wash a few, the washing machine didn’t seem to spin them out properly, so everything came out soaked and took several cycles to dry.

Everything was fine and as promised. Simple Life people are and were very responsive. The only thing I would say is the place is slightly overpriced, UNLESS you have the full allotment of 8 people and use all 4 beds in the loft. For anything less that the 8 count, $1800 is too much, but part of that is on us for not picking a cheaper place.
