Location is ideal if you are headed to Door County every day. Plenty of adventure to find to leave in the morning and come back in the evening.
The Starbucks behind the bedroom window is a bit bothersome. If you can tone it out and sleep through it it’s not a problem, but the first day there was a highly pepped up woman working the speaker at 6AM and it could not be louder, can hear her clearly through the walls like she is screaming through the speaker. The other days were not as bad.
The rental has a lower garage that some cleaners come in and out of during the day that use it for storage and laundry. It’s a bit awkward when they show up, you’re leaving and they’re looking at you like you’re not supposed to be there, not ideal.
Otherwise, the rental is perfect! Place was clean, accommodating for dogs, kitchen equipped, and a cozy place to stay/sleep. Not much more you need when you have all of Door County to explore!

Have stayed at this property now a few times and can say it is a consistent winner. Great home base for door county travelers.
It didn’t bother me at all, but you’ll see other reviews mention the starbucks drive through next door taking orders first thing in the morning. With the windows closed it’s a non-issue, but is worth knowing about if you’re a light sleeper. Again, personally couldn’t care less and actually found it convenient for breakfasts.

Clean place and we enjoyed Sturgeon Bay. The location of the property was very accessible which also makes it pretty noisy, even at night (garbage truck came at 3am next door). There were 3 large boxes stacked in front of the door for our first day there, and other people/renters? in and out of the garage level. The driveway felt small when another vehicle was there. Also, somehow I wasn’t cued to pay extra up front/during booking for our pup and was messaged a few days before (past the cancellation window) saying I was going to be charged 50/night extra for bringing a dog. Overall, the stay was a fine experience… just wasn’t as warm of an experience with the personal touches that we’ve experienced with other properties.

Very clean, but our tv in the living room had no volume and no pillows or blankets were provided for the pullout bed. We asked about it and all they dropped off was a sheet. Luckily we have family in the area that had pillows and blankets we could use.

The space was exactly what I expected. It was clean and well maintained. It was close to the activities I was interested in and convenient to grab groceries, etc.
I would note, I am an early riser and so had no issue being so close to Starbucks. However, if folks like to sleep in, they will need to pack some ear plugs.

Very clean , comfortable and roomy exactly like the pictures . The decor was tasteful and little touches made it welcoming to us and our dog .The apartment is situated by a busy road sandwiched in between Starbucks and Kwik Trip , this suited us fine as we were out all day and used the apartment as a base . There was no noise at night to disturb sleep . We really liked the spaciousness and our lab Toby was also able to stay . We had a minor issue which was dealt with very efficiently without any problem which was very impressive. All in all it was a great stay No real dislikes if there was one thing it was just to get to a restaurant for dinner we had to drive

The place was clean and decorated very nicely. Finding it in the dark was challenging. Parking instructions confusing to me. Getting in on the non lighted keypad was also challenging. Took a few tries before I mastered it. The remotes for the tv was on the nightstand. (?) Never could get the ceiling fans to work. Remote not available. The noise from Starbucks at 3am was disrupting but I was warned in the description.
Having a washer/dryer available was great! Went home w clean clothes. Bath was huge. Shower was great w the two heads. I would suggest more towels.
The temp was 16 outside but inside nice and toasty! I enjoyed the Door County coffee provided.
Checking out seemed to have a few too many demands. Remote to be put back where I found them (?)
Stripping the bedding yet paying a huge cleaning fee(?) Wash all dishes and remove trash to bin outside(?) Was does the cleaning person do? I left the place clean.
Overall I would recommend friends to stay here.

This place was in the most convenient location right off the highway and by a Kwik Trip and Walgreens in case you forgot things. It was super easy to get on 42 or 57 to get around the peninsula and since Door County is so small we found it the perfect home base for going up either side. The space itself was spacious and was nicely furnished, super comfy bed. It also had a nice little yard for our dog to do her business in.
Other reviews mentioned how it can be loud but we brought a sound machine and had no problem at all! I could definitely see some of the traffic being loud though if you don't sleep with a fan or noise machine. Our pup did have issues going up the stairs and we had to carry her up and down, but if your dog is better with wood floors it may not be an issue.

Place is located right between a busy gas station and a strip mall with star bucks in it. Pictures seem you have a little more space but patio looks over driveway directly into Kwik trip.
Went to put kids on hide a bed and it was dirty. I pulled mattress topper and covered in a sheet to use it. Found a used razor in bathroom on shower divider, informed landlord to check in on cleaning crew.
Overall house is in good shape and could be a decent stay for a small family.
Read agreement carefully, as I booked only because pet friendly but in the about house section it says $50 per pet per night. That was my bad miss, just a heads up

Very nice place! Was very close to downtown sturgeon bay and 40 min from sister bay and the rest of door county! Comfy beds and clean place! Location was close to a lot of things, despite being close to a bunch of businesses it was fairly quiet only a few moments at night that there would be some loud cars at the gas station by the house but otherwise was pretty peaceful!

The rental was in a great location for Door County attractions. The backyard was Starbucks and we only heard the drive thru in the mornings. There’s a Kwik Trip and Walgreens very close by, also. All the amenities and space was great. The only complaint I would have is the morning before we checked out the lawn service came and distracted our dog the whole time. Also, while we were checking out the cleaning service was already there waiting for us to leave. We felt like we were being rushed out.

We appreciated the location of this stay right off the main road. It was very easy to find, and still close enough to everything in Door County. The place was very clean, bed was comfortable, and especially loved the extra large bathroom and double shower. We had some issues getting in, but the host was very responsive after a mixup.

Pretty clean! It’s not super loud despite being next to Kwik Trip/Starbucks. Super close to DT sturgeon bay. There’s a pull out and queen bed. Spacious place!!

We had a great stay. It was a perfect location for our needs. The sound from the roads and stores were not an issue for us. The home had some great amenities like a sound machine, towels and bath products. The doubled headed shower was amazing. My daughter used the pull out couch. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. Would stay again.

Loved that this rental was dog friendly, had a washer and dryer, kitchen, and a comfortable bed! Location was great, as most restaurants were within a 10-15 minute drive. They had smart TV’s in the living room and bedroom, and all kitchenware! The only downside was being woken up quite early by the Starbucks drive-thru noise, which I could hear clearly. If you are a hard sleeper, or have a fan on, it might not be an issue though. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!!

Loved the property!
The Simple Life was HUGE and truly beautiful inside! It matches the pictures extremely well - no surprises on the inside of the property: Kitchen well appointed, huge living room with TV and comfortable sofa, very comfortable king size bed and large master bath with oversized walk in shower -- all very nice and clean! Loved the art on the walls making it feel like home.
Only negative: location could be better.
Good thing about the location is that you have a gas station, Starbucks (but can hear drive through) and Walgreens near by. It was also quick to jump on the main road to get further North. Unfortunately, you don't have a nice view and the deck will soon overlook a massive Kwik Trip being built.
Having never been to Door County before, we couldn't fully appreciate the location being as far from other DC towns and restaurants recommended to us (~30 min from Egg Harbor & Bailey's Harbor), but that's on us (still good to know for others!).

The place was as advertised as far as amenities and was clean and cozy. Very short drive from Sturgeon Bay which was nice.
Noise from the road was no issue but in the mornings you can hear some of the Starbucks drive thru

Great space, clean and comfy bed. Difficulty sharing 1 bathroom among living room guests. It would be nice to have a half bath as well, but we knew that before we booked. The noise outside wasn't too bad.

This place was simply perfect for my birthday get away. Only 30-45 minutes from “popular” attractions, and very close to lovable local attractions and restaurants as well! It was the perfect place to relax and feel at home between exploring. The shower was amazing to decompress in, and the deck was just what I needed to sip the Starbucks I got… literally from the backyard! I’m thankful that my fur baby got to be included in this trip as well, with an affordable pet fee. Would 100% stay again! Thank you!

The place was perfect for our needs. If you are a light sleeper bring a white noise machine or earplugs! It will be even noisier when the new Kwik Trip next door opens up. Bedroom is just above the Starbucks drive thru and you can hear it.
The bed was super comfy and the house was very clean. We would stay there again if in the area. Loved the fact that they are pet friendly even though we left our sheltie at home!

Beautiful modern upstairs apartment in the heart of Sturgeon Bay with a Starbucks right behind you! Very convenient location to travel anywhere in the peninsula. This apartment is gorgeous, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. I’m only taking stars off due to the lack of cleanliness. It might appear clean but if you really look it is not properly deep cleaned and sanitized. The shower door is full of soap scum, mildew visible in shower, toilet bowl wasn’t scrubbed with brush and had stains, sinks were maybe lightly wiped versus actually washed and disinfected. Floors were not mopped. Light switches are definitely not cleaned as there was spaghetti sauce on one of them but I cleaned it myself. Cleaning staff is lacking everywhere now a days and they just want to get in and out and get away with a quick surface wipe. That is not how real cleaning and disinfecting works. Otherwise, this property definitely gets a five star from me! But I have high standards when it comes to true cleanliness.

Thank you for a wonderful place to stay during our family door county trip! A great space for our little family to stay (traveled with an 3 year old and 4 month old). The space was clean and spacious, a great place to rest after our fun adventures. My only complaint is the location. The address wasn’t provided until a week before check in. It’s right next to a huge construction site that begins work early in the morning - around 6 am. There’s also a Starbucks under construction next door that received a delivery around 2 am today. Definitely not the best location and wish I would have known ahead of booking. Despite all this, it was a lovely stay!

This place was very charming. Perfect for a couple. It was very clean and easy to find. I think we may have been the first people to stay there because there were a few things that were forgotten. For example they left coffee but no coffee filters, no shampoo or soap (not even hand soap), microwave wasn’t working. None of these things were a huge issue but a little inconvenient. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars.
