Whispering Pines

3 Bedrooms 2 Bathrooms Sleeps 6 Fish Creek

Welcome to Whispering Pines! This is an amazing old country-style home with a cottage feel interior featuring large wood beams and an open floor plan home that was once a large barn. A lot of the character has been preserved while adding updated amenities and touches of comfort. There is a large sunroom with lots of windows to let in light, nature, and fresh air. The expansive 5 acre property is complete with hiking trails, old growth forest, birch and pine groves. It is centrally located in Northern Door putting you in a great spot to reach all of the hotspots in Door County and is close to all the beaches and waterfront attractions, dining, and shopping- all within a few minutes' drive.

Relax and enjoy the very quiet and peaceful area with amazing forests and wildlife. You will see turkeys & deer daily. At night you can hear the howls of coyotes. Absolutely pristine lands!

**This is a quiet community with residential neighbors. This home is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.

About the Owners:
My family and I have been vacationing in Door County since around 1998 when my wife Monica discovered a local destination that would help with my homesickness after relocating from New England. Door County filled that void, and we have been heading up multiple times a year every year since that first trip! We have made decades of wonderful memories in Door County, watching our family grow each year! I have always dreamed of owning our own home in Northern Door where we could enjoy it with our family and friends, but also share the experience with new families venturing out and discovering all Door County has to offer. We truly hope you enjoy our home. We have put a LOT of effort into making it a "home away from home," but also preserve the quaintness/charm, and in-tune with nature feel you get when visiting Door County. Relax, unwind, recharge your batteries, and take it all in!
Enjoy your stay!
Eric & Monica

Loved our stay in Door County. The home and property were pretty, peaceful and quite close to the town of Ephraim. The home was also very clean, beds and bedding felt new and all furniture was in mint condition.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get way for the weekend for a little and Door County did not disappoint in the fall! We had the most amazing house to stay in. Very cozy, with tons of blankets and pillows. I would recommend if you are coming during the cooler time to bring extra blankets as there are small heaters to warm the house. There are kitchen essentials if you wants to cook, which were super helpful to us in the morning! Also the location is very close to anything you would want to drive to. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back eventually!

We throughly enjoyed this renovated cottage in the woods. Location was perfect and just a short drive to Fish Creek. it was peaceful to walk around outside. We saw a deer family and some turkeys. The home had all the amenities we needed. Not a great deal of privacy with the 2 open loft beds but there was ample space in the loft with its own bathroom. The heating system was a little confusing but we figured it out. We loved the place and would stay again!

From the moment we arrived, our daughters squealed with joy for the tree swing! They loved taking adventure walks, discovering apples, seeing a deer, and playing with rocks and sticks. The cabin was well appointed and better than I expected from the pictures. We were very comfortable and happy! Thanks for the great experience! Our family didn't want to leave (the girls even cried saying goodbye)!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in July. Was so peaceful sitting outside. Great location to many Door County favorites. House was very clean, you could tell it had been updated nicely and beds were very comfortable. Only small suggestion would be having a few more towels, especially hand towels & kitchen towels. We definitely fell in love with Door County!
