Comfortable living space- loved the fireplace! Sitting outside on the patio was nice too. Very clean and comfortable. My only concern would be the mattresses in the bedrooms. Our friends asked us how we slept and we said the mattress wasn’t comfortable and they agreed. We loved the location - would consider coming back in the summer to use the pool- walk to the beach and fun things like this but bring our grandchildren next time. Thank you!

The owner said it was on a busy road, and that’s true, but we were not bothered by that.

The location was great, adjacent to peninsula state park and walkable to Fish Creek restaurants. Unfortunately, the place was underwhelming. There were stains on the carpet, the fridge was falling apart, the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall and the mattresses were uncomfortable. Also, the pool was closed despite the near 80 degree weather. Kids were not happy.

The location is great. It’s a two minute walk to several trails at Peninsula State Park. It’s an easy walk to downtown Fish Creek as well. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Door County!

Great location, walkable area (sideways) to restaurants, shops, beach. Clean. Spacious common area and bedrooms. Draw back was poor respond from Simple when communicating about plugged bathroom sink. They dragged it on through our 3 night/4 day stay! We could not use our bathroom sink, it was plugged so bad. We got a response to our third email, “…we never received your email. We are checking to see why…” verses coming and fixing it! Then the pat statement, “…we are there for you…” Not helpful. Bed mattresses were also squeaky, uncomfortable and fragile, falling off the frame once. Hopefully they fix their communication and respond to guests needs!

Great location, very accommodating with amenities and kitchen. Most of the blinds not in working order so difficult to let the sunshine in. Mattresses just ok. May need replacement soon. Beautiful property and a privacy fence along the street/patio would be a great addition someday. We would stay here again.

Location was extremely walkable, and right by the entrance to Peninsula State Park where we had family camping. Inside was cozy and very nice. Appreciated having a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Check-in/check-out instructions were very clear.
Some things to note are that the kitchen/bathroom/laundry supplies provided are pretty bare minimum, and the place is located right next to the main road so if you are a light sleeper this may bother you (my toddler loved watching the cars go by so this was actually a bonus for us).
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this rental!

The rental was even better than expected from the pictures. Our bedroom was small, but sufficient. The other bedroom, a nice size. The place was nice and clean. Stains on carpeting, but not a big deal. We didn’t really cook there, but easily could have. A nice laundry room with bathroom downstairs. Loved having two bedrooms upstairs each with their own bathroom. The pool was perfect for our granddaughter. The location excellent! Very happy with our choice.

We had a decent stay at this Airbnb. In all honesty, this place was average compared to other airbnbs. I was bothered that there is a “suggested rating” system posted on the fridge that pressures guests into giving a 5 star review.
Pros: location, pool
Cons: Cleanliness was decent, but there were stains on the carpet, rugs, living room chair, and walls near the stairs. Bare minimum of supplies provided regarding cookware, etc. (ex: there were 2 dishwasher tablets for our 5-night stay). Repairs needed when we arrived: front door handle, missing microwave plate, broken wine bottle opener, dryer (took 3 hours to dry a small load). Bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. I know its personal preference, but I think this was due to the quality of the mattress and pillows provided. The checkout requirements were more than other airbnbs.
Full disclosure, we didn’t contact the management company with these issues during our stay, because I didn’t want to use my time this way on vacation.

Just right for our family, both bedrooms with attached bathrooms was great and half bath on first floor. The location was what we wanted, close to restaurants and stores and short drives to the other towns. Overall the condo is very nice. We did feel the cleaning fee was excessive especially when we had to strip the beds, remove the trash, etc. The ants in the kitchen were a problem, we had to throw out food we brought that they got into. There were some spots on the carpet on the stairs to the second floor.

It is a roomy, free-standing cottage with nice amenities. It is on a busy road but we did not hear any noise from the street. It is very handy if you want to go to Peninsula State Park or other locations in northern Door County. You can walk to some local restaurants.

The rental was nice with the exception of a few things: The front door was hard to lock/unlock, the fireplace didn't work, there were no lights in the living room making it hard to read in there at night, no explanation of the TV subsriptions. Other than that, the place was comfortalbe, and close to downtown. I would recommend it to others.

The location of the property was perfect for us as it is in the heart of Fish Creek. The condo also was perfectly suited for adults and was comfortable with a good layout. Being a veteran traveler, we have come to expect a certain quality at this price point. Unfortunately, there were several issues that weren’t good, the two televisions on the property were extremely small and even hard to see while sitting down, the fireplace gas supply was turned down so low it barely made a fire that you could enjoy, the master bathroom, master shower light didn’t work, blinds, and seat covers were broken, garbage disposal didn’t work and there was no grill on the property as we had expected. Most concerning the exterior lights did not work, which made it very difficult to enter the door key code, and get in and out of the condo at night. I reached out to the management company before I posted my review. Their only comment was they would pass it along and give us a 10% discount on our next stay???????? Thus my mixed emotions. I really enjoyed the location and set up but would expect the property to have checked these types of issues before quests arrived.

Wonderful place to stay for a couples weekend getaway. Location is fantastic, everything in Fish Creek is within walking distance. Each bedroom has an attached full bathroom which was awesome for 2 couples to stay in and not have to share a shower. Place was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the outdoor patio immensely especially because the patio chairs were more comfortable than the living room furniture. The kitchen was awesome...well appointed and very nice. The laundry area was great as well. The beds are rather old and very hard! This might be alright for younger folks but for 68 year olds, they were low to the floor, hard to get out of. The carpeting needs a good cleaning, especially the stairway and there were at least 8 light bulbs that were burned out (kitchen, step lights, pendant over the sink, both lights in the showers and the light bar over the master bath) and those should be replaced. The GFI outlet on the patio does not work nor did the outlet to the right of the stove. I don't want to give this property a bad review but for what you pay for cleaning fees etc. one would expect a bit more. With a few minor adjustments this home would be better for the next folks to stay in.

This was my first time renting a place that was not a hotel. It is a very nice place to stay close to town. Some minor things were in need of repair, which should have been done before our stay. The pull out in living room did not have any bedding. I was also surprised when I got the finally confirmation and door code that we were responsible for things like stripping beds, cleaning dishes, taking out garbage, etc. considering the ridiculous amount of fees that I was charged everything should have been taken care of for that price.

I was disappointed. The condo is right by the street so there’s a lot of noise level when sitting on the patio. When we arrived, the porch had to debris, cobwebs and kids chalk still on it, the door sticks so it’s hard to get into. Several of the kitchen lights were burnt out. The furniture is dated, uncomfortable, and somewhat stained. The fireplace does not work at all. The smaller bedroom mattress is dented to the middle and they have the modem in there so there is a concern about EMF. The positives; it’s close to shops, state park and restaurants. Also the simple life staff did fix the lights very quickly. Not a good value for the money spent.

Examples: Dust on shelf in upstairs bathroom. Dust & man's shoe found under livingroom couch. Sheets/blankets needed for downstairs pullout. Hand towels & wash cloths stored.. lower level. Coffee was privided but no coffee filters. Lower level bathroom...tissue holder broken. Dining area blinds "pull" fell off immediately, leaving us to believe it was already broken. ** We were a group of 6 women, all 75 yr old, so yes...sheets, towels, cleanliness are important.

Cute little cottage on the main road running through Fish Creek. Walkable to all the shops and restaurants in town, which was very convenient. Sparkling clean and comfortable. Our younger kids had fun swimming in the pool and my teen and I enjoyed short walks to the coffee shop down the street. If you like to sleep on more than one pillow bring some with you - only two pillows on the queen bed in the primary bedroom and no pillows provided for the pull out couch. There were plenty of blankets, towels and dishes. This cottage is right on the street running through Fish Creek. The speed limit is low but there are cars and people going by. We really enjoyed being close to everything so this didn’t bother us. Would stay here again without hesitation.

The house is in a great location within walking distance of Fish Creek restaurants and shops. Road noise is a little loud since house is right next to main road but would definitely stay here again

We loved everything about the house, especially the location!! Everything was super clean and comfortable. The only negative was getting into the house on arrival. I’d read reviews saying the code didn’t work. Our code didn’t work either and it caused us to stand outside waiting to hear back from someone who could help. Other than the check in process, it was perfect!

This property is in a prime location will lots of ample parking in nearby public lot if needed. I stayed here with 5 other friends for a quiet and relaxing girls weekend. We brought snacks and drinks so there were supplies to serve those but did not cook meals. All of those were covered at the great restaurants on the peninsula! Coffee was provided which was great. One morning we did pop down to the local coffee shop as well. The house was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the small park walking trail where we saw multiple deer. Everything is walkable from here..

Everything was exactly as listed. Everything we could have needed was there. Clean and comfortable! There was a little traffic noise in the front bedroom, but worth it for the location. We were scrambling due to a change in the size of our group and were nervous that something must be wrong if it was still available, but we were just lucky! It was great!

The house is adorable and the kids loves the pool. We had an issue getting in bc the lock box was broken, but the property manager came to our rescue. Would definitely stay again. Very good location - walkable to State Park and so many of our favorite restaurants and downtown shops.

Condo was very nice. It had everything needed. Very clean and updated, some things looked brand new! Good location in Door County with beach, restaurants and shops within short walking distance. Unit is right on the road so it does get some traffic noise and people walking by often. Nice patio to sit and watch. Two queen beds and one twin were there to sleep. Second twin was a pullout chair and my teenage son had a hard time sleeping on it, it was not the most comfortable. The couch was large enough to sleep in though. The kids loved the pool. It was a nice place and would definitely stay again.
