Welcome to Vita Huset, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! One of Door County’s premiere rental properties. Located in charming Sister Bay, this newly constructed home completed in 2023 will provide the perfect hub for all your vacation activities. The main floor includes a designer kitchen with Café appliances, including a 36” stove. Sip your morning coffee in the four seasons room with adjourning breakfast area. Enjoy gathering with friends in the large open-concept great room, which has plenty of seating, as well as a Samsung frame television with Sonos sound system. There are three bedrooms on the main floor (including the primary bedroom), all with en suite bathrooms. The primary bedroom is a separate retreat with a large vaulted ceiling and well-appointed bathroom, including stand alone tub and large shower. The main floor also includes an enviable laundry room with front loading washer and dryer.
The upstairs is a retreat all on its own, with a large bonus room that includes an oversized couch and television, as well as a workout space with a Peloton bike, basic yoga equipment, and weights. The comfortable second floor bedroom is adjacent to the fourth bathroom. The backyard provides year round entertainment, including a hot tub. The attached heated garage provides parking for two cars or can be used for playing ping pong, with the provided equipment and offers EV Level 2 charging. This home really has is all!
We love our family pet dogs and welcome yours too! Your well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval. This property allows up to 2 dogs with a 40 pound weight limit each. There is a fee of $50 per dog/per night, which is collected separately and approximately one week prior to your check-in date.
*This home is located within a quiet community with residential neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.
*Important property note: This property is equipped with security cameras at the side and front door, as well as inside the crawl space for the water leak monitoring system.

Dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, baking sheets, kitchen towels, hot pads, wine glasses, grill utensils, crock pot, rice maker, tea kettle and baking sheets are also at the property

Provided:
· Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
· We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue.
· We also supply one each of travel size shampoo, conditioner and body wash per full bathroom.
· Due to health and safety guidelines made by the health department, all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.

Door County is full of many amazing things to see and do! We recommend that you check out Destination Door County, and the visitor's bureau online, to help map out your vacation. "Door County Vacationers" is also a great FB group to join to get recommendations on everything from favorite restaurants to favorite tours, places to rent boats, and things to do.

Beautiful home!
by NicoleFrom the moment we stepped into this beautifully designed Airbnb, we were enveloped in comfort and style. The thoughtful layout and spaciousness made it perfect for our group of friends. Every detail seemed carefully curated, from the chic decor to the cozy seating areas. And the gift basket was such a thoughtful touch, adding an extra layer of warmth to our stay. We had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
This home was beautiful and the perfect size for my family. From the brand new and updated appliances and fully stocked coffee bar, to all the decorative details and personalized touches, we felt right at home the moment we walked in. We especially loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom/ensuite. The hot tub and firepit served as the perfect ending to each night.

by Karla ClarkOh my goodness! We loved staying at Vita Huset! The gorgeous house was perfect for our family of eight! We all had our own spaces when we needed down time, but we enjoyed all the places in the home where we could comfortably gather as a family. Lane thought of everything! I\'ve stayed at some luxury hotels and Vita Huset feels like a luxury hotel...without the fussiness. The house is beautifully-appointed but all the furniture and accessories are family-friendly--we had a five-year-old with us! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, hanging out in the hot tub, playing board games and ping-pong ,and watching movies. The home is easy to get to and close to tons of activities. You can\'t go wrong--this is hands down the nicest home we have ever rented!

Absolutely beautiful!
by Susan Allen & familyThis home is even more stunning than the pictures online. The decor is absolutely beautiful and has a very relaxing, beachy/coastal feel. Every detail has been attended to. The fact that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom made for a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and we the easy access to dining and activities in the Sister Bay, Ephraim and Fish Creek areas. Lane was so welcoming to our furry family member and made sure we had everything we needed. Next time we will stay longer so we can spend more time just relaxing and enjoying the home itself!

Comfort and beauty with all the amenities you could need.
by SarahVita Huset is your home away from home, but better. All the amenities you need are available in this beautiful, comfortable home. It\'s immaculately clean and you can tell the owner has put his heart into providing a space to unwind and enjoy your time. The fixtures, as well as the decor, are tasteful as well as functional in providing a comfortable place to stay while in Door County. The beds are comfortable, providing you with 2 King and 2 Queen beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so it would be a great place to stay with friends and family without the need to figure out bathroom needs throughout the trip. While the pictures show you much of the home, I found that it was even larger than portrayed in the pictures. Lastly, location is key in Door County and Vita Huset is right where you\'d want it to be. It\'s within walking distance of Sister Bay but also private enough with ample parking space for all of the guests. Lane was a great host, ensuring we had all that we needed for our stay to make it as stress free as possible. I am looking forward to future stays at Vita Huset.

Vita Huset is something special! Not only is the home beautifully designed and styled, but also clean and comfortable with every amenity considered/included. (Coffee lovers will appreciate the well equipped/stocked coffee bar...it's incredible!). This lovely home is cozy enough for a couple's getaway, as well as an ideal spot for a group stay. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom for privacy and the home has plenty of space for cooking, dining and relaxing. The hot tub and bonus yoga room round out this extraordinary retreat. I can't recommend Vita Huset highly enough. Hands down, one of the best vacation homes we've stayed in...it's true gem!
Our family of 6 loved our visit to Vita Huset. The house was beautifully designed and felt like a high-end boutique hotel with the extra details and amenities. It felt spacious for our large family while providing multiple intimate areas to gather and eat together. The kids enjoyed hanging out in the loft and watching TV and playing on the vintage Nintendo system. We stayed on a very cold weekend and the hot tub was a perfect way to enjoy the outdoors. The location felt private, yet was only 3 minutes from downtown Sister Bay, which has restaurants and a grocery store. The kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you need to make a great meal. You can tell the owner cares about your experience. We will definitely be back!
Staying at Vita Huset was just what we needed. Everything was so clean and beautiful. The open concept in the main room enabled us to prepare food while still being engaged with everyone else. And the hot tub was our favorite part. It was the perfect setting for star gazing. We will be back for sure.
This beautiful Door County oasis is conveniently located just a short drive from town. Everything in the house is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and I loved the amount of privacy this home offers (each room having a private bathroom). The hot tub was very clean and was very spacious ( four full size adults fit comfortably). The hosts made our stay very comfortable and we left with a weekend to remember.
