Yellow Birch Cottage
Welcome to Yellow Birch Cottage, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This cottage is part of a condo association, located in a quiet area right off of the main drag. It is two stories and features 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms- both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with new granite countertops. The living room has a new, natural cyprus hardwood floor, a natural gas fireplace, a couch and a twin-size pullout sofa chair- perfect for family gatherings and additional sleeping space. This property also features first floor laundry, a back patio and an in-ground, community outdoor swimming pool.
This is a quiet community with residential neighbors. This home is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.
Please be aware that this property is located directly on Hwy 42/Egg Harbor Road, which typically experiences higher traffic volume during the peak tourist season. There is 1 parking space in front of the unit and a close walk offers public parking including space for a boat trailer.

We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue.
We also supply one travel size shampoo, conditioner and body wash per full bathroom.
Due to health and safety guidelines all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.

Door County is full of many amazing things to see and do! We recommend that you check out Destination Door County, and the visitor's bureau online, to help map out your vacation. "Door County Vacationers" is also a great FB group to join to get recommendations on everything from favorite restaurants to favorite tours, places to rent boats, and things to do.

- Right next to Hat Head
- Public parking (vehicles, boats, trailers) is one driveway to the west and is shared with Hat Head.
- Walking distance to Wild Tomato, Not Licked Yet and Peninsula State Park
- 2 minute drive to 2 public boat launches
- 3 minute walk to the Fish Creek Beach
- 5 minute walk to downtown Fish Creek shops and restaurants

Stayed a few nights
by JeffIt is a roomy, free-standing cottage with nice amenities. It is on a busy road but we did not hear any noise from the street. It is very handy if you want to go to Peninsula State Park or other locations in northern Door County. You can walk to some local restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at this townhouse over the New Year's holiday. Walkable to all of our favorite parks, shops, and restaurants in Fish Creek. Spacious kitchen and living room, and very clean.

This was our first stay in Fish Creek and this condo had everything needed for us, making it feel as cozy as home. The level of comfort and convenience provided while staying here made our weekend getaway truly stress free. Besides having all of the creature-comforts one could ask for in a place to stay, the location is absolutely perfect for the Fish Creek area. Peninsula State Park is right across the street, and the downtown is only a few minutes walk away. It was an absolute joy to stay here. We will be booking this condo again this summer!
Very charming place and perfect for families, friends or just couples!!
Condo was very nice. It had everything needed. Very clean and updated, some things looked brand new! Good location in Door County with beach, restaurants and shops within short walking distance. Unit is right on the road so it does get some traffic noise and people walking by often. Nice patio to sit and watch. Two queen beds and one twin were there to sleep. Second twin was a pullout chair and my teenage son had a hard time sleeping on it, it was not the most comfortable. The couch was large enough to sleep in though. The kids loved the pool. It was a nice place and would definitely stay again.
The cottage was perfect for our stay, located close to downtown Fish Creek, we could walk everywhere and we did. The living space is open and inviting. We stayed in November and really enjoyed the fireplace. I would highly recommend Yellow Birch Cottage.
