Prompt and great communication by the host. The chateau was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Quiet location in a nice setting just steps from beautiful Europe Lake. Enjoyed the close proximity to Newport State Park, one of our favorite places to hike in Door County.

This rental was truly the cleanest place I have ever experienced! My guests had an incredible time, and the Door County themed Monopoly game was a delightful touch. The kitchen was ideal for cooking, complete with a charming dining area that comfortably seated six. The beds were spotless and inviting, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Just a short drive away from a beautiful beach that was not busy at all when we went on a weekday. The night sky was amazing and we got to see shooting stars one night. We loved our stay and would book again in a heartbeat!

Loved the location, the stars at night were amazing, right next to Newport State Park, a registered dark sky location. There was an amazing mile long beach 5 minutes away. We went there Friday in the morning and we had it to ourselves. Great restaurants and shopping. The place is new and comfortable with an open floor plan. Nice deck to relax and enjoy the woods, didn't get to fish cause we were so busy but there was a small park with a pier on Europe Lake a block from the house that would have worked nicely, maybe next time. I would come back here again!

Nice, quiet location. Just what we were looking for.
The lake was clean and quiet. We paddle boarded and there were 2 people out one day and a few kayakers the next, so not busy.
Down Europe bay road was access to Lake Michigan with a beautiful and quiet beach. Nice biking and hiking trails too.

This was a perfect location for our stay for my son’s destination wedding on Washington Island It gave us enough room for the 6 of us and room for our 2 dogs. We were close enough to everything but far enough away in a quiet surrounding. The chateau was clean , neat & stocked with everything you would need for being away from home . There even were pet items for those who have pets and may have forgotten. We were very thankful to have such a nice stocked Air BNB.

Clean and updated. Nice beds and bedding. Good location. Quiet neighborhood. Questions and requests were handled promptly. Only things that were less than ideal for us were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which was hard since only one small bathroom, and no covering on window in master bedroom, so sunlight streamed in at 5AM. Would stay again or recommend to friends!

The château was in a beautiful location in Northern door county. It was in a very private area and provided a peaceful getaway. We had a nice stay here with 3 adults and our dog. Everything was as described. I have mobility issues, and much of the reason for choosing this booking was that it is all on one level. I was able to get around with my walker in the cabin. I will say that I did have some unavoidable difficulty with the front steps to enter, which could be improved by the addition of a handrail and possibly even a ramp, but this doesn't affect my rating, as it was a known factor when choosing the listing. We had a great time! The location was absolutely incredible, even in the busy season in door county we felt like we were still out in pristine quiet nature. The board games and the dvds were a great plus - we had a lot of fun! Unexpectedly, the town park on Lake Michigan had better star gazing than Newport state park, and was such a wonderful, less busy, beach!

Everything we needed for the week was available, and we loved having the flexibility for meals at “home”. The rooms were spacious. We rent our house out every year for EAA so my family and I took a quick drive north to try and escape the craziness. We absolutely loved the cabin and the proximity to everything DC had to offer. My kids told me numerous times they wished it was our "cabin up north." I'm convinced we'll have to rebook for next year due to them loving it so much.

My family and I loved our stay at the "Europe Lake Chateau". It was very clean and comfortable and we had absolutely everything we needed. It is tastefully designed and well cared for.
We loved the location with Europe Lake just at the end of the road and the state park accessible by nearby trail (or a short easy drive).
The sofa bed was not comfortable, even for the young folks in our group, so perhaps this is a better choice for 2 or 4 guests (rather than 6). The other beds and everything else was great. A quiet, clean, peaceful haven.
I highly recommend this little piece of heaven.

The home was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The short walk to the end of the road led us directly to the lake, and made for a great way to start each day. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck, listening to birds, watching for deer, and sipping wine from one of the nearby wineries. This home is a bit off the beaten path, but that makes it a wonderful retreat for the kind of relaxing and refreshing vacation our family was looking for. We'd definitely stay here again!

This place was perfection for our needs. It’s not too big, but big enough. Provided a quick overlook for different activities and areas, most importantly a local pizza joint! Very clean and beautifully decorated. Felt far enough away from city, but safe in the surroundings. Only recommendation, it would have been nice if there was a safe.

Very quiet neighborhood. We saw deer walking in the woods when drinking morning coffee on the porch. Cabin was new, comfortable for the whole family and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Loved having a washer and dryer. Fantastic choice for a Door County vacation!

Great location to explore the tip of Door County. It was so quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed family walks and morning runs. There is something magical when the forest meets a body of water! We explored the area around the house, and also visited Newport SP and Washington Island.
House was clean, well lit, super pet friendly! They had everything you need in case you forget something. Beds were extra soft and comfy, wifi was great, kitchen well stocked. It was a perfect place to rest between outdoor adventures.

It was a wonderful place. It's fresh and new and so very peaceful. We enjoyed sleeping in and sipping our coffee with the panoramic forest view. We adventured around the peninsula and Newport State Park during the day, then came back for streaming movies at night. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and being frugal during our stay. I said to my husband, "Can we live here forever?"! We hope to come back in the warmer months. Worth it!

Great. When completing our reservation online it stated a pet free cabin, but there was no place to add the pet before paying so I had to go back in after totaling and tell them we were bringing one pet and they emailed me back with a $45 charge per pet per night, which seemed to be high and added much $$ to our 5 night stay. Please change that in your listing to let people know how much it would really cost with a pet(s). The $45 fee was the highest we have ever paid for our dog during our travels anywhere.

The Europe Lake Chateau in Ellison Bay was amazing. It’s super comfortable, new construction, plenty of room, spotless and the cabin has everything you need for a vacation in the woods. My family and I very much enjoyed our time at the house. It was fully stocked in regards to kitchen appliances/tools, bedding, and bathroom accessories. Our three littlest kids shared one of the beds with plenty of space. We spent some time a few days at Newport State Park and enjoyed the beautiful weather to hike.
To any future guest, it's good to know the distance from a grocery store so you can plan accordingly if you plan on frequently using the kitchen for meals. We were able to coordinate on our visits down to Sister Bay.

Great location about a block from Europe Lake, and within a 10' drive of beautiful Ellison Bay and Gill Rock. Both towns are very quiet and peaceful. With a slightly longer drive (~20'), you can be in hustling and bustling Sister Bay, where there are numerous restaurants, and a Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
The property was just completed in Spring-Summer of this year and very nicely appointed.
We very much enjoyed our stay.
