Getting To Green Bay

Located at the head of its namesake bay, Green Bay sits where the Fox River meets Lake Michigan-a city surrounded by water, history, and Midwest charm. As one of Wisconsin’s most vibrant small cities, Green Bay offers a unique mix of natural beauty, sports culture, and easy access to the outdoors.

With over 80 miles of shoreline stretching around the bay and riverfront, Green Bay is a scenic place to explore and unwind. Whether you're visiting for a Packers game, a waterfront getaway, or a weekend filled with food and local culture, the moment you arrive, you'll feel the pace shift-just enough to relax.

Game Days=Free Public Transportation

Green Bay is easy to navigate whether you’re driving, biking, or relying on public transit. The city is compact and traveler-friendly, with short drive times and plenty of parking near downtown, Lambeau Field, and major attractions.

Public Transit Green Bay Metro provides affordable and reliable bus service throughout the city. During Packers home games, the excitement ramps up—and so does the service:

Public buses are completely free on game days, making it simple and stress-free to get to and from Lambeau Field without worrying about parking. Routes are extended and optimized for game traffic, so fans and visitors can focus on the experience, not the logistics.
