This is a nice quiet loft, perfect size for a couple. Peaceful setting, easy to find and close to town complete with many recommendations around the area. We enjoyed our stay!

Loved this place. It's small, nestled in farmland. They have a great garden and a creek down the way. I startled a huge owl walking around. The place was great. Highly recommend.

This was a great stay! The host provided clear and detailed instructions, and had excellent local recommendations. It was very peaceful and quiet, and I really enjoyed looking out over the restored prairie (timed right for lightning bugs at night!) The space was very clean and comfortable, and I could easily cook simple meals. The location made for a short drive to Kettle Moraine, the Ice Age Trail, other great parks, and West Bend had lots to do.

The loft was beautiful and perfect for a weekend getaway with my daughter. I appreciated the “things to do” information in a booklet provided as we found a cool restaurant with an arcade upstairs that gave us something to do (the mineshaft [30 min drive]). The place was clean, cozy and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area!

The stay in the Kewaskum studio was quiet and comfortable with an ideal serene setting in the kettle moraine. Wish we had more time to explore the region. Paddock Club recommendation was really great for dinner. Lake Elkhart is a hidden gem.

I loved my stay here and will be back when in the area. This studio loft is very clean and everything is new and built within the last two years. The host’s has thought of everything you might need from extra sheet sheets to towels dishes wine opener glasses etc. This place is exactly what you hope and wish for in a bnb. Ric and Amy are accommodating wonderful hosts and I thank them for making my time here a memorable one.

Hello, fellow travelers! 👋
We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s the cleanest air bnb we’ve ever been to.
It is a small studio loft above a garage. Perfect for two people. It’s on the same property as a personal home, but once inside it feels very private. We stayed during January, and it was warm and cozy. Good lighting options for a relaxing ambience. Simple, peaceful-feeling decor. Perfect balance of minimalist + everything you need. We could see such beautiful stars that we neeeeevvvveeerr see in Chicago.
Everyone has a unique sensibility, so a couple things that did not detract from the stay for us, but are worth noting:
-you are above a working garage. It is not used frequently, but you will definitely hear it when it is used.
-the bathroom is down a set of stairs. If nighttime bathroom visits + stairs would be a challenge for you, just be aware.
-that’s it!
We did the Butler Lake Trail in Kettle Moraine (3 mile loop, 15-ish minute drive from the air bnb), which was a wonderful winter hike. We went to the Norbert for delicious food, as well as, no joke, the Omicron Restaurant (a family run diner-vibe in West Bend) for breakfast.
All in all, we really loved this space and would definitely come again, as well as recommend it to friends. Cheers, and fun travels to you all! ✌️❤️

We stayed here for two nights, primarily to hike and bike in and around the Kettle Moraine area. The room is incredibly clean and very well appointed. It's a great location if you intend to explore Kettle Moraine, but the downtown area of Kewaskum is limited in dining choices. You'll need drive to West Bend or Cedarburg. It's a great place to stay, and probably the only negative for some would be that the bathroom is on the lower level/entry while the living space is upstairs above the garage.

My wife and I stayed here over labor day 2021, the 2 hr drive from Chicago was well worth it. Very quiet location, beautiful prarie sunrises and clear starry nights. Bicycling distance to a few parks, and others a short drive. in a different season we would be Nordic skiing. Indoors, place itself was *extremely* clean, felt new - and inspired keeping it that way for other guests. very comfortable, climate controlled and screened windows for a nice breeze. one is over a garage, but it's well designed, and the home owners are lovely and there is enough space for privacy. Thanks for making a great weekend possible!

We stayed at the charming flat for two nights on a weekend, it was great and very clean. Visited Elkhart Lake and the Ice Age trail. The owners allow you to use their bbq and fire pit, it was beautiful at night around the fire pit, the full moon that weekend, and so quiet around the property, could only hear some frogs near by! Also very private! We locked ourselves out the second day when leaving for the day and the host responded within minutes and found a solution to our problem very fast, was very responsive, professional and pleasant to deal with! Thank you Scott and Wendy for great customer service!

Very nice off the beaten path place to stay. It was very unexpected but we did find great places to eat both in town and in West Bend. The only thing that I would recommend for the place would be a toaster.

this loft had very thoughtful amenities and was nice and clean. it's also super convenient to Kettle Moraine state park and all it has to offer. if you are an early riser, you can watch the sunrise while still in bed. this is there place for you if you enjoy the simple pleasures of nature.

Nice loft built above a garage. New and comfortable. The space is private, but this is a residence -- you can hear the garage door below opening/closing, and you may see the residents (very friendly) when you come and go.

This was a great fit for a solo weekend away! The space is well furnished, clean, and comfortable. The property itself has lots of space, sunset views, and was very quiet. Hosts were very communicative and attentive to how well the property is kept.
I would suggest the Zillmer Yellow Loop as a hiking trail - is about 5 miles in length. Was a great opportunity to enjoy the area and fortunately had the trail to myself.
Definitely plan to return for a future stay!

Delightful location! Minutes from great hiking in Kettle Moraine State Forest. Saw a spectacular pheasant crossing the road. Took my breath away! Brand new property but lots of character. Pristine views out all windows. A beautiful stand of old pine, open prairie, nature abounds all around. Brought food for microwave, no stove. Be sure to stop by Corner Bistro for great coffee and a bite and The Braising Pan for a hearty German breakfast. I'd like to thank the owners for sharing. We'll be back!

This place is perfect for a getaway weekend. We enjoy cross country skiing and the location is perfect for that with Zillmer loops within 10 minutes drive and New fane trails 5 minutes away. Very clean, brand new, pics and description is what you'll get. We had a little issue with water upstairs at first but it was solved very promptly with great communication. Will definitely come back if we get the chance.

This is an adorable loft. It was very clean and was perfect for what we needed. We ski'd all weekend at Sunburst which is very close by. We drove in while it was snowing which looked beautiful as we arrived at the house/loft. The owners (or someone) shoveled everyday and had the long driveway plowed making it very easy for us to come and go. We brought meals from home to heat up in the microwave so having the plates and silverware was perfect. We enjoyed reading Stevie's journal (look at the books on the shelf). I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. We may come back every year for a yearly ski trip.

This is an absolutely wonderful location. Very secluded, but still close enough to town. Minutes drive to the Kettle Moraine Forest where there are some outstanding trails and other nature opportunities. We were the first guests to stay here and the space was absolutely perfect. The property owners have a vast field of native wildflowers/pollinators/grasses that should be beautiful come summer time, and the leaves in the fall (Columbus day weekend when we were there) were absolutely perfect. The space itself if cozy, efficient and likable. Amenities were simple, but more than enough for the weekend stay. Hosts were easy to contact and communicate with. Will definitely look at staying here again if we make it back up that way!
