Koselig Cottage

The house is lovely - nicely decorated, has enough space for 4-5 people. We enjoyed using the record player and playing the different board games stocked at the house. Lots of space outside with a nice fire pit.

This was a second stay at this location for our family. It was wonderful again! We love the location and surroundings. It is great to be outside of town but it is an easy drive to many locations. The home itself had all the amenities we were looking for. Everything was as expected.

I’d recommend this excellent home to any friend or colleague. Beautiful place with all of the amenities a family needs. Added bonuses: beach umbrella in basement, record player with records, and many comfortable places to experience the stay inside and out. Loved it. Hope to return!

Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle, this cute retreat was perfect. You have to look for the driveway and follow the signs, but once there it's perfect. It's a 5 minute drive to downtown so the location is great. Very clean and as described. We'll definitely be back!

Our family of 5 had a great stay here! We loved the location - private but still close to Sister Bay and Ellison Bay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well appointed and felt very cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace, games and record player in the evenings after full adventure days.

This cute cottage was a great place to stay when wanting to be close to Sister Bay and explore all it has to offer. We had access to great shops and restaurants and enjoyed the cute living areas inside and outside the cottage to gather with friends! Great memories were made! We loved our 2 night stay at Koeslig cabin in Ellison Bay. Super cute cabin and very private. The kitchen was amazing. We had a getaway weekend as a couple and loved being able to cozy up on the couch the fireplace and watch our favorite show. Loved all the fall colors. Felt private but still close to restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

Went to Sister Bay for Fall Festival. We LOVED this little house. It was perfect for our group. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The fireplace added a nice torch for chilly fall nights & the fire pit & grill were perfect for s’mores and steaks. The home was very clean and the beds were comfy. We would definitely stay again. From check in to check out this cottage was perfect for our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. The owners restored this gem to a beautiful modern cottage with all the amenities you will need for your stay. There were just two of us but it would be great for a small family as well. The location is off the beaten path (away from the heart of town) but nothing is too far away to enjoy making the short drive relaxing and enjoyable especially with the lovely fall colors which grew more spectacular each day. The owners have clearly invented some heart and soul in this property and it shows-they even include some before pics in a little book of the cottage history which was fun to learn about. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage with us and making our first trip to Door County so enjoyable! Oh we also tried several of your dining recommendations which were spot on so thanks for the hints. We hope to be back again and if your home is available, we would certainly stay there again.

Be prepared to take the gravel road all the way back, hard to see from the road. But we loved how private it was. Decorated very nicely. We loved the glass table for playing games and fireplace for the cool nights. Just wish we knew the pillows were down because 2 in our group were allergic.

Really enjoyed the secluded feel of this cottage! I like that it was set back from the road and enjoyed the trees surrounding the property. We really appreciated the welcome note, coffee, and chocolate covered cherries. We found it nice in the evening to relax around the fire pit and play bean bags. Although the cottage is small, it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially liked its proximity to Sister Bay.

We loved this charming cottage! It’s absolutely gorgeous. Amenities were described accurately and even had more than listed. Bedrooms were small but the rest of the cottage had a TON of space with several seating areas, both inside and out. It was perfect for a single family. I highly recommend!

This was a great spot for a long weekend with my husband and two young kids. The kids loved the bunk bed and having the option for a “sleepover” with their parents in the same room. The location was also great - easy to get into the nearby towns as needed but quiet when we wanted downtime. Also loved the decor! You could tell a lot of time and energy went into the updates. We would highly recommend staying here!

Koselig Cottage was my favorite of all airbnb stays. It was absolutely pristine while having an incredibly warm feel.
Nice quality everything - from linens to dishware, furniture & decor, enjoyable touches such as the fireplace & record player with many records to choose from, fully stocked with all the things you need,
excellent and quite kind communication, flexible, as well as a lovely welcome gift for stay!
I will stay at Koselig Cottage again & again!

This place was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! I’m pretty sure we were the first guests to ever stay here. When you hear “newly remodeled” you never know what you’re going to get, but let me tell you this place is pristine! Brand new! The style and decor was perfect! A cozy relaxing farmhouse style decor. Loved the fireplace and the record player. We didn’t use any of the supplies provided as we were out and about the whole time but they have thought of EVERYTHING! Fully stocked kitchen - you could make a gourmet meal here, a sound machine, so many outdoor games and supplies (bug spray, beach towels, bikes, etc.) even the soap was on par! My ONLY critique is the patio door in the main bedroom has this awful persistent howling/humming sound with the slightest wind. It should hopefully be an easy fix, but it wouldn’t stop me from booking again. I’ll cross my fingers it’s fixed the next time I book, because I WILL be back! And will spend more time at the adorable cottage! 💙
