Wonderful location with a great beach! The house was much larger than we expected. Host was extremely friendly and had a fantastic gift basket waiting for us. Very quiet area where you can hear the waves on the beach from the bedrooms.

My family and I had a wonderful time at time at this place! Property that’s right by the shores of Lake Michigan is a dream. We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit by the beach. My family, including our two young kids and cavapoo, stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every minute. The location was close to everything we wanted to see and the fun part was the kids looked forward to coming back to the house each night and playing on the beach. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. We grilled out two nights and strolled song the beach at sunrise and sunset. The owner was very welcoming and attentive and we appreciated the fish and other goodies he left for us. This house made the trip a true success and we came home with lots of special memories of our time in Sturgeon Bay.

My family stayed here for a long weekend at the at the beginning of May. I cannot recommend it enough. The location can’t be beat! Miles of sandy beach just steps from the property. The listing photos were very accurate and the house was bigger than we thought. You could definitely have a large group there without any issues. The owner was very responsive. I feel confident that if we had run into any issues, he would have done his best to fix it immediately. You can tell he truly cares about the property and wants everyone to have the best possible experience. Great stay!

Lily Bay Lodge was home for 4 nights in early October for my husband and I and our two small dogs. We wanted someplace special for our anniversary and this location was perfection! Our stay couldn't have been any better! We appreciated the kindness of the owner ... it is obvious they care tremendously about the property. The accommodations were comfortable for us and our pups. Everything was clean and worked well. The fenced in yard for the dogs was great! The beach and the view were amazing... we were up early every morning to watch the sunrise! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a special stay in DC!

Beautiful house and property with absolutely stunning views of Lake Michigan! I was the exact restful getaway we were looking for and our dog was also delighted to be there due to the fenced in back yard and the wide open beach to explore either direction. Beautiful setting, house has a great layout. Not updated but very very clean and useable. The beach is fantastic as are the outside amenities - we used the kayaks, ate outside and used the fire pit for s'mores. Also a great place to walk the countryside on the surrounding roads. If you like to cook on vacation, I might suggest you bring your absolutely necessary kitchen items. We had a fantastic time and have already booked for next summer!

Wonderful Lake Michigan beachfront property. The host was welcoming, responsive and checked in regularly. The home was clean and there is more than adequate space for guests to spread out or to gather in the kitchen, in the screened in porch, the patio or on the beach. We enjoyed swimming in the shallow sandy water and kayaking. There is plenty of beach to take long walks. The home was well maintained. We will come back again.

The Lily Bay Lodge was wonderful- the house is great, beds super comfy. My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The lake house was very clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The highlight is the location. You have part of the lake Michigan shoreline as your backyard. It felt like a private beach because there were such few people around. My dog also enjoyed the fenced yard and we ate on the patio and screened in porch. The owner was very friendly and even offered us complimentary salmon that he had caught the night before. It was delicious. We will definitely be coming back during our next trip to door county.

The place is great. Lot of character, well cared for, right on a beautiful beach. We felt at home and enjoyed a great weekend with our family.
I would rec making clear your restrictions on dogs and the price per night for them. Your website was not at all clear about this and we ended up making last minute arrangements for four of our dogs. The website made no mention of extra charges for dogs and no mention of a limit on number of them.

Beautiful place, peaceful, private, in the forest and on the beach, cozy interior, favorite place was the fireplace at night. We walked miles on the desert beach every day, very relaxing. Being on the beachfront was amazing--and you can walk in either direction along the beach for a good stretch from Lily Bay Lodge. Our dog was in heaven on our morning walks along the beach, when we were usually the only ones in sight (we went in September). The back yard is nicely fenced in for a small dog, which was great. Inside the house: everything was very clean, uncluttered, and nicely provided-for. High standards all around! A very nice weekend getaway.

We had a great stay at Lilly Bay. The house is in a perfect location right on the water. It had all of the amenities we needed, and just the right size. The house has a charming cabin decor and they’ve thought of everything for your stay. We loved being able to have a bonfire right on the beach. It was a beautiful experience starting there before kids school open for school year. Cabin’s location was right at the beach and we had the feeling as its a private beach. We had an awesome stay and my younger son asked if we can extend the stay. We enjoyed canoeing at the Lake. I would highly recommend this cabin for your lifetime memories.
