Had a wonderful stay here. The property was clean and the we found the furniture and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed as well. The location was nice but we found ourselves driving a bit more than we would like but definitely not a major factor in our overall rating of the property. Very easy to communicate with owners too.

My family had a great vacation in the house! Plenty of space in the house and out back. We spent a lot of time hanging out back around the fire pit watching the kids swim. Location was great for both hanging out by our selves and jumping into the nearby towns for additional activities!

The house is beautiful with high end fixtures. The kitchen is well appointed with anything you would need- good knives, great pans, loads of utensils. The fire-pit was awesome. The gas grill was a plus. I went with a group celebrating our turning 60 this year. This place had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Myself and a few friends stayed here for the Door County 50 miler - it was great for a large group of adults - lots of space and the fire pit was perfect. There were quite a lot of bugs in the house, I'd say that was the one complaint/negative from our group, but overall we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay again for future races or group trips!

The house was well appointed, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom, shower were very nice. Extra cleaning, an eye to the dirty windows, and the outdoor porch furniture needs to be addressed. The inside of the house is pretty, great kitchen with decent appliances and pots, pans, dishes for cooking. Would rent again. Just be aware you will hear noise from the highway when out on the porch.

Lovely location for a peaceful getaway. Accommodations were great with lots of space and bathrooms were large and updated. Huge yard with access to Lake Michigan out the back door. We enjoyed kayaking, bonfires and watching the sunset each night.

We had an AMAZING stay at this beautiful home on the Bay!! There was tons of space for 3 adult couples. The property is extremely clean and well stocked! We were all pretty pleased with the property. We had plenty of space to spread around and not feel like we were on top each other. Couldn’t ask for better views of the lake. Beautiful sunsets. Just wish that the refrigerator made ice, that was just a small inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again.

This rental property was great for our family trip to door county. It’s only a 20 min drive away from the shops of door county, which makes it a great place to unwind after a day exploring more north! The rooms and layout of this house are great for a multi family stay. Owner was easy to communicate with for a late check out. Our family is already thinking about when we can come up to this rental again!

This place was beautiful and very peaceful, bigger then it looks online. It was great, my only suggestion is to use different cleaning people as there were open snacks on carpet upstairs, old 7 up bottles under bed, dead bugs throughout the house. Otherwise the place was great, the lake was amazing, the sunsets even better. I would stay again.

We were a party of 13 and had a wonderful stay. We loved the fire pit, the views, kayaking and swimming in the bay. The house was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. I would say, put your soundest sleepers on the lowest level as the mechanics of the house and noise from the main floor can be quite loud down there. Would absolutely stay again.

The home was well equipped in the kitchen for meals. Plenty of spices available which was a bonus. Very large firepit was perfect for evening bonfires. Plenty of linens and towels and access to laundry was ideal. Rooms had plenty of space for sleeping our group of 11 and closet space was perfect to store luggage. More hamgers would be nice. Wasnt sure how the fridge icemaker worked but brought our own icemaker so it wasnt a big deal. Used the kayaks which was a nice perk. Dining room overhead light didnt work and there were a few large black ants noticed in the basement. Suggest a few fold up chairs forbaround the dining table to accommodate larger groups like ours, we ended up using the 3 seasons room chairs soit worked. Excellent communication with owners for early check in. Would recommend to others for a family gathering location.

Wow! We are in love with Maison Rouge! When we walked in, my 7 year old grandson said, "This place is Paradise!" He wasn't far off; the house had all the bells and whistles; soft comfy beds, plenty of towels and hot water, gorgeous cooks kitchen, living room, And den, quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, and 3 1/2 bathrooms . The view and location were amazing, and only 20 minutes from the University of Greenbay, the downtown, and 30min. from Lambeau Field. We were a family of 7, ages 7 to 70, and everyone could spread out and have plenty of room. I would recommend the Marchand Market. It's a small grocery store that carries everything including booze. We recommend Black Sheep Bar & Grill and their gorgeous deck, and Millions Crab Boil as good family restaurants. Also good for kids young and old, Hinterlands Brewery, next to Lambeau field, so much fun!!
Please don't hesitate to book this exceptional AirBNB. We would all love to return someday.

If you are looking for a spacious and modern home on the water in door county, this is it. We had 9 people stay and the size was perfect. The home was well stocked, nothing worse then going to a VRBO and only have a few pots me dishes - not here. It’s almost like they want people to stay there. It is a drive if you are going to any of the the Door County spots but it was a huge deal. - 20 minutes to Sturgeon - 70 minutes to Sister Bay Only issue - the knob on the stove is so worn off, you have to guess to figure out which setting your trying to get. Still 5 stars just needs to be switched out.

We had a wonderful, multi-generation family vacation on Green Bay. The home was beautiful, well-decorated, and very clean. Perfect layout for our family. The kids loved the bunk room! The beds were comfortable and the property owners were helpful. A few things to note: the basement bedroom has some mechanical noise during the night and the upstairs bedrooms get hot if you don't close the curtains and doors during the day to save the A/C. Overall, a great property with a gorgeous bay view! 30-40 min drive to the tourist attractions. I would stay again!

Celebrated our anniversary with two other couples. House was great - each couple had their own floor with private bathroom. Entire home was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and designed. Spend every evening around the fire pit enjoying the prettiest sunset in Door County. Subtle outdoor path lights automatically turned on to lead us back to the house. About 1/2 hour to Sturgeon Bay and we enjoyed day trips around Door County. Would definitely recommend.

This property was amazing. Our family truly enjoyed the backyard by the lake. The kids had fun playing in the yard. The home inside offered everything one could need. This house is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. It was spotless and thoughtfully decorated. Everyone in our group talked about how much they loved the house and how they wanted it for themselves. It had plenty of space with clean, comfy beds for all. Everyone had their own bathrooms and privacy. We realized we definitely overpacked because we had assumed the house didn’t have as many supplies/amenities as it did. There was an abundance of kitchen utensils, cutlery, dishes, cups, basic ingredients (salt, pepper, sugar, etc.), cleaning supplies, and paper products. There was even an ice machine downstairs that came in very handy. Having a garage to keep our cars was a perk we didn’t know we wanted until we had it. Check-in was a breeze, as was check out. Scott was extremely accommodating and quick to respond. He was able to accommodate our request for a late check out, and then an even later check out when we decided we wanted to stay as long as we could. The wifi went out one day due to some bad weather. We called Scott’s team and it was immediately tended to. We are already planning our next visit so we can rent the property again. It just may become an annual trip! Thanks for a great stay, Scott!

Loved this house! So happy my family got to make lots of memories that we will get to look back on. This home was able to accommodate a family of 12 with room to spare! The thought that was put into the build of the home was definitely noticed. Kohler toilets and huge soaker bath. Plenty of bathrooms, gorgeous kitchen, beautiful flooring. The view of the lake was insane. Sooo beautiful all times of the day. The sunset was magnificent. We definitely want to come back and make it a family tradition. This home is absolutely stunning. My wife and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary and due to COVID we could not fly, so we wanted something memorable within driving distance. We choose Door County and came across Maison Rouge and we know it was perfect! It is made for far far more than 2 people, but it was the exact setup we wanted: New, Modern, Sleek, Fresh, Patio, Waterfront, Private Garage, Washer/Dryer. This is a true dream home and that is what we were looking for! If you want an old cottage feel, this is not for you, but if you want to feel luxury and "new" and stylish while up north, this is the perfect spot.
The main floor is where we spent all of our time. It has a BEAUTIFUL kitchen, dining room table, living room, flat screen TV, Master bedroom with HUGE closet and HUGE bathroom with beautiful walk-in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable (I am very picky and have a hard time sleeping) and this was perfect.
Home Location: The "action" is about 20 minutes away first beginning in Sturgeon Bay and then another 20-30 minutes past that is Sister Bay. At these locations you can go to outdoor restaurants, rent boats, taste wine, etc. Note: There does not appear to be any action/restaurants/things to do at the location of the house. Not saying you need it because the house is beautiful and the view of the water with a campfire is to do for, but just make sure you're ok with the small drive to the "Door County Stuff"
Little Bonuses that go a long way:
1) WiFi that works (We even hooked up our own appleTV to watch our movies at night)
2) Roku Smart TVs in living room, basement, and Master Bedroom so you could log into all your streaming services.
3) Firewood by firepit
4) Marshmallow sticks for roasted marshmallows
5) Modern Laundry
6) Ice Machine in Basement
One thing to consider:
IN MY OPINION: As an in-shape 35 year old, there is no way to use the kayaks with the stairs being removed from the shorelines. Getting the kayaks in would result in severe damage, and the rocky shore is far too dangerous to walk on. I cannot imagine how you would even get the kayaks back up to the shoreline, nonetheless your own self.
However, the views of the water, the firepit, and the sunset and are absolutely priceless.

Mason Rouge is a spectacular waterfront home on the bay right at the Door County Line. The home is gorgeous - from the bedroom sizes, the huge bathrooms, a great common space for everyone to hang out in, the porch overlooking the water, and the patio at the waters edge with the fire pit - we loved it all. We had 3 couples and a baby stay and everyone had their own private space, including the baby. The house and neighbourhood are absolutely outstanding and we cannot wait to come back. We went to the Packers game on Sunday and it was only a half hour from doorstep to Lambeau Field. I 100% recommend Mason Rouge - book right now!

This place is amazing! Absolutely beautiful. Perfectly clean. The house was just perfect. We had three families (10 people) and everyone had plenty of space. The view out the back, especially at sunset, is breathtaking. We had so much fun just hanging around the house that when we were touring through Door County, we actually found ourselves wanting to go back to the house to just hang out there. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The hosts were always prompt in the communication. Check-in was a breeze and the personal touches and resources to experience the most out of Door county really put this place over the top. We have been in several BNB’s but this one was the best my a mile and none of the others are even close. If we ever head back to Door County, this will be the place we stay for sure. Great home and spacious. New construction was recently completed (as advertised ) as you can smell the fresh paint when you first enter.
Family trip of 12 fit well in this house, 14 is their max however the house is large enough to accommodate more.
The lake view and access is amazing! Fire pit, deck and sun room were awesome. 3 kayaks available which was not listed was a nice plus. The kids wanted to swim in the lake however rocks filled the entryway which made it difficult to walk on, plus the algae never helps. Great view for the sunset.
Inside the house you have everything you need from 3 full showers, washer dryer, dishwasher and all the utensils needed for your stay. Maybe we missed it but we only had one garbage bag for our 3 day trip, luckily we had many grocery bags we used. Other than that, the house was fully stocked.
We had trouble regulating the ac within the house. The main level and “basement” were super cold and those on the top level struggled to get the cold air upstairs. We closed some vents hoping it will help however we were unable to notice the difference.
Overall, this was a great stay. This was mine and most of my family’s first air bnb stay and we hope our next stay will live up to this experience.
