Group consensus: Great place to stay!!The property had a great open space where we could all hang out and plenty of space so you could "break away" from the group if you needed "alone" time. The kids and adults alike liked the outdoor space... room to run, throw a football, etc. We really liked the location! So easy to get to wherever in Door County.

This place was great! It's actually bigger than the pictures make it seem and the house is beautiful. We loved spending time in the sun room. There were plenty of beds for our group of 12. We had trouble with our code to enter initially, but we were able to get in touch with the owners immediately and they reset the code over the phone. We had no issues the rest of the weekend. The check out procedures were simple.

It was a great stay! We had 13 people total and there was more than enough room to sleep and hang out. It’s tucked away and very cozy feeling.
We had issues with getting in, but they responded within seconds and were great to work with!

This house was exactly what my family and I were looking for to celebrate a big family milestone. We had a group of 13 so I was wondering how the sleeping arrangement would work. This house had a bed for every single person and the layout was great! Two full baths and the half bath helped quite a bit as well. Great yard for everyone to play games and a nice fire pit. The house even had an outdoor chair for everyone!

We did a vacation with my family, first time not camping in Door County. We had 10 adults, this house accomadated us great. The location was perfect for us as we really utilize the state park. The back yard was very private and provided lots of space for us to play yard games, the woods next to the property is state park land, my husband was very much enjoying looking for morel mushrooms and ramps. He found a few morels and many ramps. There were a few issues with things like the refrigerator door not opening properly but we managed and informed company right away of issue. The kitchen was also well stocked for our needs, we did most of our meals at the house and I never found myself lacking. We enjoyed the panini press that was provided. The house itself has alot of charm, we used the back porch alot and enjoyed the lilac bushes that were in bloom, smelled so good. We will be back to stay here again. So grateful for the beautiful placed provided for us on our vacation to Door County.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. Plenty of space, beds, and chairs outside. Very close to state park. The fire pit was perfect. One issue was there were no extra blankets and it got chilly at night. Just a sheet and thin quilt on each bed. We also had to buy garbage bags since the box that was left was empty. Other than these 2 things it really was perfect for all of us.

My group had the most charming weekend here! The property is beautiful, and the inside of the home is spacious, with all the right amenities to make our stay comfortable. The location could not be better as it is a quick drive to downtown Fish Creek and neighboring Egg Harbor and Sister Bay. Our only minor inconvenience was that the power went out on the second floor twice, but the Simple Life team responded in a reasonable timeframe. So be careful not to use too many appliances at the same time! Knowing that beforehand would've been helpful, but otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay in this home! Three different families stayed and there was plenty of room for all of us. Living room and screen porch were delightful and the kids LOVED the bunk room, including the excellent selection of children’s books. The outside space was also fantastic. Lots of room for kids to run around. There were a few places where the house was not quite as clean as we would have liked, but it’s also a very old home in the woods with tons of character, so some dust, dirt, and bugs was to be expected. Overall we would highly recommend this rental and hope to stay again next summer!

Great location, very close to the Peninsula State Park entrance. The sun porch was our favorite spot. Two refrigerators made it nice for our large group as we were able to keep the drinks in the second fridge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great time staying here. The space fit our group of 10 people with ample space and enough bed arrangements for everyone. The space was secluded and we were able to use lots of yard debris for firewood. The location was super close to many activities. Highly recommend this AirBnb for a fun door county trip.

We had a great stay at the cottage. There was plenty of room for everyone. The only issue we had was the batteries died in the kitchen faucet so we did not have water for a bit in the kitchen. The Simple Life was responsive. We replaced the batteries and were quickly reimbursed for their cost. Would recommend this place to others and we would consider staying here again in the future.

Had a great time over the weekend in Door County! This Vrbo was perfect for our group of 10 adults. We each had a semi-private space and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We enjoyed the use of the outdoor fire pit. The doors and flooring were quite creaky late at night/early in the morning when we were awake at different times. We were thrown off by the check-in email we received when we were already in town. I wish that had been sent out earlier so I would have known about the scarcity of toilet paper and body wash and could have packed our own. Overall 4.5 stars for the space but wish communication had been better.

This is a beautiful home surrounded by a wooded area and a great location near both Fish Creek and Ephraim. The drive isn't much more than 5 minutes either direction. The home had everything we needed from bath towels to kitchen ware and we were able to enjoy an evening outside around the campfire. There was plenty of space for our large group and then check-in/check-out times were considerate. We had a great stay here and I would reccommend this to anyone looking for a larger space for their getaway or traveling plans.

The place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! We had seven adults and two children and there was still plenty of room for more. It was 10 minutes away from everything we wanted to see. And it was only three minutes away from an outdoor movie theater which I highly recommend checking out. We would definitely book reservations here again.

Pack your bug spray, as the mosquitos are ever-present, but don’t let that deter you. This home is in the heart of Door County, and it only takes a few minutes to get anywhere on the peninsula. This home is perfect for a family or extended family vacation. My fiancé and I stayed here with my parents, grandpa, cousins, and my brother and his family. We had plenty of space and plenty of beds. We had everything that we needed, and there was also plenty of parking for us all to have our own vehicles. We did have one tiny issue (the batteries were dying in the electronic door lock), and the hosts were really easy to contact and they helped us solve the problem before it became a bigger issue. We are thrilled to have stayed here and hope to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here! Plenty of space for our group of 10. The location is great, close to Peninsula state park, restaurants, shopping. Good private backyard with firepit and charcoal grill. Not a lot of traffic noise despite being right on the highway. The house was clean and the kitchen fairly well equipped to cook a few meals at the cabin.

We stayed here for a girls' trip in the height of the tourist season. It is located in a perfect spot - 10 minutes or less from anything you could want. There were eight women and there was plenty of beds, bathrooms, and space for all of us. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos. It was also spotless. It was the perfect blend of cabin in the woods and modern home. We all highly recommend the stay.

Renovated old country house right on Hwy 42. Clean house with lots of sleeping options, (bunk beds for kids, etc). It’s a very busy road and you need to watch carefully to make your turn. Surrounded by forest and very close to the state park.

The property was even better than it looks in the pictures! Easy, keyless entry. SO clean and cozy. We had a great time sitting by the fire pit and an equally great time sitting in the cozy living room playing games while it rained. The location was also amazing, the midpoint between Egg Harbor and Sister Bay. We were talking about coming back before we even left!

What a sweet place!! So clean and well decorated! We loved having coffee every morning on the porch! Great central location to all activities. We had a great experience with this stone cottage. We were pleasantly surprised by the home and property. It was a perfect size for two families- 4 adults and 5 kids. The house was older but nicely updated and clean. It was well stocked with linens and kitchenware. It was a chilly fall weekend and we enjoyed the giant fireplace in the cottage each night. The kids loved the bunk bed rooms and had fun playing in their rooms and especially in the backyard and forest. This property is literally connected to Peninsula state park! Communication with the property manager was super easy and friendly. We would definitely recommend this property.

First, I cannot emphasize enough the great degree Scott went to help us during our stay in Door County. We unexpectedly needed to change our accommodations and when I reached out to Scott in the morning, he responded quickly and patiently waited while we sorted out the details. He arranged for a cleaning team to come out that day to prepare the property with a turn-around-time of a handful of hours.
When we arrived, the home was impeccably cleaned and the property is just absolutely beautiful. Although next to one of the two main highways in DC, indoors it was quiet and peaceful. From the back of the property the noise, too, was minimal. And by far, the best feature of this property is the access to woods! We explored each day for hours discovering mushrooms, turkey feathers, and building tee pees.
We cannot wait to return to this property again!

My family stayed at the house which was perfect for us since it was so close to Fish Creek. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms- easily could house more than my family. The home is situated with plenty of outdoor space.
