The Loft House

This was our second time staying at this property and there are no complaints at all. The house was perfect for what we needed and didn't have any issues at all. Communication was great and had we needed anything, I'm confident we would have had a quick response. The only thing to note when looking at location is that this house is a little off the beaten path and did add some time to our travels but it was very private and quiet!

Highly recommend! The house is beautiful, clean, and private. We had an amazing stay with 8 women. The bunk room is genius and allowed everyone to have their own bed, unlike most rentals.

We enjoyed our stay! We were disappointed they charged an extra $50 to check in 2 hours early, but overall, the house was fantastic for our group! Tucked back nicely off the main road. We struggled with the light switches especially the set by the garage. One night we couldn’t figure out the switches to turn off the lights in the garage we could not access. I would say having garage access would have been nice. But again, very well maintained property and great host.

The loft in Egg Harbor was a great place for our family group, with 7 adults and 5 kids. We had a great time, and the place was awesome, with a lot of room inside and out for family activities. The house had a nice wooded setting with plenty of privacy, and the house was generally well equipped.

Perfect place for a large group. Kitchen was fully stocked with cutting boards, pots and pans, and crockpot. Coffee pot is a little small for a big group. It is a “no shoe” household but our feet were pretty dirty after walking around barefoot. Plenty of towels provided for a group. They did want to charge is $50 to get in 2 hours early so we just waited to get in until 4, seems odd to charge people for that. The bunk room was bigger than it looks in pictures! Overall, I would recommend staying here!

We had a great stay for my bachelorette weekend! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The yard was beautiful and added to the relaxing vibe of our trip. We took time to unwind on the back porch, super peaceful! Check-in was easy with clear directions provided ahead of time. Our group of 11 had a wonderful stay at The Loft House! The house is absolutely stunning. It is very private, and is in a good location. The house was spotless, spacious and questions that I had were answered very quickly. I would absolutely recommend this to any larger groups. We had a group of women and had no issues with the hot water, as I recall reading from other reviews. We also weren’t all showering in the morning. I appreciated the smart home features, like separate HVAC for the bunk room, and timers for bathroom fans/fireplace because we didn’t have to remember to turn them off. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. The only slightly negative thing we all agreed on is that it’s a bit overpriced.

I recently stayed at Simple life rental property, and it was a fantastic experience!
Cleanliness and Comfort: The place was immaculate upon arrival, with all amenities as described. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights.
Location: The location was perfect…close to local attractions and restaurants, yet peaceful enough for relaxation.
Barbecue Fun: We were excited to start a barbecue, but encountered a small hiccup when we discovered that the gas cylinder was empty. We weren't aware that we needed to retrieve an additional cylinder from the gas station. However, the next day, we found another gas cylinder in the backyard, which was a pleasant surprise!
Suggestion for Improvement: It would be helpful to have clear instructions regarding the gas supply on the property listing or directly on the gas cylinder itself. This would ensure that future guests are aware of the backup supply and can enjoy their barbecues without any interruptions.

Hard to go wrong in door county. This place was gorgeous, had plenty of amenities (fire pit, grill, kitchen essentials, etc.) The noise does echo so if anyone’s up and about early Regardless of where you’re sleeping you’ll know about it, not a negative just an observation. We had a great time and were able to use the patio area with fire pit one night. Minimal firewood provided so bring your own. Also not much provided in the way of laundry detergent or dish detergent so bring some of your own along as well. For the price I’d hoped a bit more basics like detergent would have been more plentiful but we managed for our short stay. Overall I’d stay again!

Description was accurate. Plenty of space in the home to enjoy! Really liked the wooded surroundings and access to a grill. The kitchen had what we needed to cook many meals there.
My only recommendation is to bring extra dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and paper towel as we did not have enough provided for a 5 night stay. We did leave some dishwasher detergent behind for the next guest.
Overall, very nice home that encouraged fun family game time and downtime after exploring during the day.

The pictures match the house and it is a beautiful location. We were 7 single women so we all needed separate beds. This worked well for us.
The house is a little off the beaten track but very close to beach access. Finding the driveway was a bit tricky as there are lots of trees and no mailboxes as landmarks. Be aware, due to the high ceiling in the living area, sound echoes quite a lot upstairs. It would be difficult to sleep if people are watching TV or socializing downstairs. The projector screen in the loft doubles as the window shade.
It was a lovely setting and we very much enjoyed our stay. Go for it!

Very happy with this fun place! A great location with easy access to anything you want in the Door. Very clean and comfortable with room to spread out and a nice community space. The high ceiling makes for some echo, but not a problem at all. It is highly recommended.

Exceeded our expectations! The house was spotless and well stocked. We were a group of 9 people which included 4 kids (under 10) and 5 adults. The loft room for the kids included a projector screen for theatre style entertainment - what a treat. The living spaces had such an amazing open plan feel, which lent itself to everyone feeling included when socialising. Surrounded by a forest, we were regularly visited by Deer. We often viewed sunsets at the Marina and surrounds, a truly magical experience. The owner and the managing agents are quick to respond and very accommodating. We had a significant snowfall on Saturday, the owners and managing agent arranged for snow to be removed so we could get out if needed. All in all, a memorable experience, we will be back! Ps: we just missed the Northern Lights sighting, another reason to comeback!

There were 12 of us girls from work who wanted to just get away. It was the perfect place to all be together. The kitchen and living area is awesome. So much space. Beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were great. It would be nice to have another toilet upstairs and a little bigger if a couch on the main floor but we had a blast just staying in and relaxing all weekend.

Even better than last year! This is our second girls weekend and we plan to come back yearly! The house is always spotless. The Christmas decorations were still up and added a beautiful comfy vibe to our weekend. There were more supplies for the kitchen than last year, which was not anything to complain about last year. We had a wonderful time staying at The Loft House. This home is new and super clean. The location is perfect and easy to see all the highlights of Door County. The beds were very comfortable. The teens especially loved the bonus room. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of bath towels, but be sure to bring your own beach towels. The washer and dryer is great. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area as well. Plenty of parking in the driveway. We would most definitely stay again.

Our check in-check out process was spelled out and very clear. The house was very clean. We loved the open layout and the personal touches of the bumper pool table, the tic tac toe game, the door county coffee and the gift bags. The kids room is amazing! All the kids slept in the room and had a blast together. We also got to see the doe and fawn that live around the property which was really cookl.
The house was designed thoughtfully and we did not want for anything. We had a special time here and would definitely rent the LoftHouse again when we come to Door County.

Our stay at The Loft was wonderful! The home is more secluded than the description provided. We did not feel the presence of neighboring homes until coming out onto the public thoroughfare.
Many fun things to do all within 30 minutes or less of the home. Even on the one rainy day we enjoyed staying in and playing bumper pool and board games. The home lent itself to be spacious enough to have our big group spread out, but by the nature of being a loft we still felt together. Because of the wonderful way the house was designed, we felt encapsulated in the surrounding natural wood area which made the home cozy and comfortable.
Although the beaches across the road from this home are private, the Loft is close enough to public beaches. We found Fish Creek to be best.
The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The three bedrooms with queen size beds were perfect accommodations for the married adults and older children. The room with six XL twins was perfect for our six sons!
It was an enjoyable stay overall. We would definitely come back again! Thank you to Simple Life for helping make our stay fabulous!

Big, beautiful house. Perfect for two or three families coming together for a Door County trip. The bunk room was my favorite. Everyone enjoyed outdoor fires with plenty of firewood. Highly recommend!

We spent Memorial Day weekend at this amazing home. Everything was perfect! The house is brand new and immaculate. It’s beautifully decorated with plenty of open space for a large family. The upstairs common area was perfect for our older children. We highly recommend the Loft to anyone visiting Door County. 🍒

We were so excited to find this option that worked for three family units and lots of kids. The kids were enamored by their bunkbed room and the projector for movies was an absolute hit at night. Everything was cleaned to perfection, we truly felt like the first people walking into a brand new home. The three bathrooms was a huge benefit we didn't know we needed until we did :) The beds were extremely comfortable, the linens were super cozy, and I can't think of a single thing we needed that wasn't already in the home. The property is beautiful as well. Very quick communication, incredibly accommodating. I've stayed in quite a few Airbnbs and this one exceeded expectations. Thanks again!

The property is perfect for bigger groups, the big driveway accommodates multiple vehicles and there aren’t other properties in the immediate vicinity to worry about annoying the neighbors. The twin bed area was an interesting space my group enjoyed! The host was quick to respond and accommodating if needed.

This house was absolutely beautiful, everything about it. It was clean, fresh, inviting, and very spacious and open which was perfect for us girls to all hang out (11 adults). The kitchen has everything you need including a coffee maker with a Keurig attached! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy! The check in and out process was very simple and communication with the host was easy. No complaints, only recommendations. It would have been nice to have a few more hand towels as they were wet very fast. Also, it would have been nice to have a few more trash bags. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for sharing your home with us for the weekend!

Our immediate family got together to celebrate my birthday. We picked an Egg Harbor location as we had vacationed there many times over the years. The Loft House was the perfect location! Close to all the old haunts we wanted to visit, spacious and beautifully furnished. All 10 of us were comfortable, especially the children. A special shout out from them for the built in beds room! The adults spent wonderful evenings around the fire pit. And if it rained a bit, the indoor fireplace was just as nice. Location is very quiet and secluded. And very dark at night which made for great star viewing. If we could make one request it would be for additional places to hang used towels. All in all a perfect birthday weekend!

I stayed at this property with 11 other ladies for a weekend getaway. The location was a close drive to grocery stores and restaurants in Egg Harbor (FYI, Uber and Lyft were able to pickup from the house). The house itself is beautiful and looks as pictured. The kitchen is stocked with all appliances that you’d need for your stay (including a keurig coffee maker). The kitchen and living room makes for a great open space to entertain. There is an outdoor firepit that we didn’t utilize because it was pretty buggy when we went, but there is firewood provided at the property! The rooms were perfect for a group our size, with everyone getting a bed to sleep in. Overall, great stay!

This is a fantastic house for large groups. With five children and five adults, we happily occupied all the rooms. The kids had a fantastic time in the bunk room and the adults greatly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the open layout joining the dining and living rooms, the high windows that flood the house with light, and the fact that all the amenities are in perfect working condition. Our only complaint involved limited internet access. Five gigs of shared WiFi per day is not really adequate if visitors intend to do any work. But the real lesson is, don't work while on vacation. There are so many beautiful things to see, all within a short driving distance. Do not miss the stunning shoreline at Cave Point County Park--and all the better if there's a full moon over the lake. This house is represented well in pictures, very spacious. The bumper pool table kept part of our group occupied most nights while the rest enjoyed the fire pit outside.
The location was close to downtown Egg Harbor and we were able to move around easily.
I will say if you have full capacity/a large group, only having two showers may slow you down if needing to get ready all at once.
Overall, very nice home and perfect for some time away to enjoy Door County.

First-timers to Door County and this house was perfect! Close to Egg Harbor and a public beach. Wooded areas surrounding the home made us feel very secluded. The house itself was awesome! Very clean, well stocked with kitchen utensils, comfy beds, and plenty of towels and blankets. We didn't spend too much time at home on our trip, but plenty to keep everyone entertained. Highly recommend!

Loved staying at Scott and Wendy's property. It was clean and well thought out for a family vacation. Had great amenities wifi, grills, firepit, tv, bumper pool, laundry, and ample outdoor parking (could fit probably 4-6 cars if needed back to back). Located 5 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from egg harbor downtown area, 15 minutes to Sister Bay, and 20 minutes to the park. It really had everything we were looking for and easy access to entry and exit. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting the UP!

House is in a very private location surrounded by forest. Very private location. Not too far from the downtown of Egg Harbor. Kitchen is great! Bedrooms had everything you need to have a quality rest!

This house is beautiful! The beds, furniture, decor, build quality... everything is just beautiful in this home! The bonus room with the 6 bunks is really cute, comfortable and roomy. I actually slept with my little one in one of the bunks one night and it was comfy even for two. The kitchen is very well appointed! If you're planning on staying in and cooking off and on, you will not be disappointed.
If you've never been to door county, this home is 30 minutes from everything! We highly recommend Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Sister Bay, and Cave Point. This peninsula is one of the most beautiful places that we've ever visited in the midwest! We stayed for 4 days but now wish that we would've stayed for 7-10 days.
NOTE: There are only two full bathrooms (no tubs, just showers) - so if you have a large party you will need to coordinate showers and getting ready. The garage is also locked so you will not be able to park your vehicles in there.
