We stayed at Three Little Birds rental in Sturgeon Bay for a short weekend. The house was tastefully decorated and cozy which made us feel right at home. We brought our dogs and the host thought of everything to have available for them to feel comfortable too. The surrounding area is beautiful.
SL was also very proactive in communicating with us and checking to see if there were any problems.

Our stay was wonderful! The home was very accommodating and roomy with our 2 dogs. It was very cozy with the fireplace which we used day and night. We were able to get wood for the fireplace easily. The location was centrally located between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. The property had everything needed for cooking in the kitchen with being able to walk the dogs out on the property and over to the bay.

This house is a gem. You can tell their attention to detail and high standards for cleaning. Great house for pups and kids. All of their supplies were amazing! Outdoor toys, dog supplies, cozy blankets, wood for fire. They thought of EVERYTHING. Also— this listing DOES have laundry. #bonus The lake is so close. You can see the opening of the trees across the street from the driveway. And the kids were obsessed with the clear view of the stars. ✨

This is one fantastic rental. We were concerned by the Sturgeon Bay address because we like to stay in Egg Harbor or slightly north of there, but it was essentially in Egg Harbor. The neighbor said they are a part of the village of Egg Harbor. Not only do you have a 3 acre wooded lot where you get to enjoy nature, but the water access is literally across the street. Those living off the water access it from this point. This is a very clean and nice rental and just felt comfortable, which isn't always the case when away from home. I highly recommend this rental.

If you’re looking for a perfect getaway in Door County in a beautiful surrounding steps from the water - this is it. The home is right between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor making it easy to get around to all of the parks and beaches and shops. It’s peaceful and quiet and a perfect escape. The home was spotless, easy to communicate with the hosts, and came equipped with everything I needed. Absolutely wonderful stay and would gladly go back!

This was our families first trip with our newborn and first time in door county and we will definitely be coming back! Part of what made this trip so great was the house, it was the perfect get away. The house was clean, instructions were very clear, and it had everything you could possibly need, especially things for our two dogs which was a very nice addition. Great place to stay! The cabin is very comfortable and setup well as a rental property with items labeled and instructions. The only improvement we noted was that the instructions posted in the cabin for dogs and garbage removal at check out were slightly different than the emailed instructions. The email said dogs must be in a crate if left alone, the posted instructions inside the cabin said it is recommended. We took our dogs when we left, so it wasn't an issue. The email said to remove the trash at check out, but the instructions on the fridge said the cleaners would take it out. We took it out. All in all, this is a great place to stay in door county.

We had a family gathering with adult children, my 90 year old dad, plus two dogs, and the house was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked, and we loved the various porches and outdoor spaces for relaxing. Beautiful location in the woods, a short walk to the water, great for running, and a short drive to all the nearby towns. The fire pit in the back was awesome. I highly recommend this property!

This was our 6th Annual Girls Trip/Door County Century Bike Ride vacation. This was hands down the best rental we have had! It was gorgeous, comfortable and super clean. Three Little Birds was a perfect place for our family to vacation in Door County! Unfortunately our Jamaican vacation was canceled due to hurricane Beryl. We were able to quickly grab this amazing property and feel so lucky it was somehow available last minute. The setting was beautiful!!! The home was immaculate and had anything and everything you could possibly need on your vacation! The owners truly want you to have the best vacation and for you to be comfortable in their home. My wife and I had a great weekend at Three Little Birds. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. We noted that it had great space and would be fun to come back with our kids. You can tell the owners take pride in their home and the area based on the helpful information they provided. It’s a quick walk down the road to a rocky beach, close enough that you can hear the waves, and located conveniently between Egg Harbor and Sturgeon Bay. It’s also a great place to bring the family dog because there are woods to explore, an outdoor caged run, and the tiled laundry room is a perfect spot to gate/crate them. The complimentary coffee mugs were a great touch!

I booked this spot to surprise my partner with her friends for her birthday and it beat my expectations by a mile. Great for entertaining and relaxing. Myself and 4 friends who have all retired within the last year decided to celebrate with a mini girls vacay.. the house was more beautiful then the pictures, extremely clean and comfortable. There was enough room for all 5 of us to have a own beds, we did not want to leave. The only thing i could recommend would be handles to get into shower. Excellent property and place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Cell service is a challenge at this property so take that into account. Wifi got better with an updated Starlink platform. We have stayed here in the past and plan to stay at this property again.

My family and I loved the , Three Little birds! The home is so welcoming with a front porch and a comfy hammock, a screened in porch and fire pit that we used most nights. The layout of the home was perfect for gathering our group, decorated wonderfully, lots of windows and so shiny clean. The coffee mugs were a very special touch. I had my kids do rock paper scissors to see who got to take them to their home. The walk down the driveway and across the street to the lake was so beautiful. We loved going to a place that is fully stocked with necessary items and is clean. The firepits had plenty of wood to use and we were encouraged to burn away. We had access to a variety of entertainment options that we loved to use. The hosts clearly did their best to make their guests have an enjoyable stay. P.S. watch out for all the deer and the wildlife. Be careful on those roads!

Highly recommend! The place is spacious and clean. Washer and dryer on site was a plus. There’s a screened-in sitting porch area as well. The area is private so it’s quiet and peaceful when coming back to unwind for the day.

This is a fantastic house. The three bedroom and two bath set up is great. We loved the wonderful seating in the living room, and the kitchen has every amenity. It is set back off the road which offers a ton of privacy. The host was very attentive, and we really enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our visit to Door County, a big part is because of the Three Little Birds! It is lovely and so comfortable! The location is perfect… close to the action but completely private. The pictures on VRBO look beautiful but the reality is even better than the photos. We will be back!

Beautiful property, stayed here comfortably with 4 adults and 2 young kids. The boys loved walking down to the lake which was very nearby (just have to cross the main road). Would definitely come back for another stay.

Very nice house, clean, private, and comfortable. I loved the bed in the loft what a clever way to make more room for guests without needing another bedroom. My only concern is the septic. Does it need pumping or is it always like that? I appreciated the note saying it is sensitive; a good way to let guests know. Just after a few flushes, there was a septic odor. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful view surrounded by the wooded area. A Five Star rating in my book *****

Excellent property!! Very clean, inviting, and spacious. We very much appreciated the ability to park our car in the garage! The family really enjoyed the fire pits and games. Owners provided more than most in terms of cooking utensils, plates, washing units, cleaning supplies, etc. we are looking to stay at this property again. A little pricey but a very nice stay!! I would stay at this property again in a minute if I find a week where the prices are less

Three Birds was exactly as shown in rental listings. A beautiful home tucked into the woods. So quiet and cozy. The newly screened in porch was a great bonus - although we never saw or heard a mosquito all week! We had 8 adults (4 couples) in our group. The only comment on sleeping arrangements was the the bed at the top of the stairs is not meant for anybody over 6’ tall. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, coffee pot(s) etc. we had a great time checking out Door County!

We stayed for 4 nights for a family wedding in Egg Harbor-6 adults and 2 dogs. Loved it. This is a very nice home, cute decor with a great layout. Variety of porches including a screened porch, and wonderful hammock. The lofted area bed nook was a big hit. Super clean. The house has everything you might need from kitchen items to blankets to indoor and outdoor games. It sits about a block from the lake. It’s about halfway between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. I wouldn’t recommend walking on the main road but there is a side road down by the lake which was good for walking our dogs. There was even a nice welcome gift on the kitchen counter which was really appreciated. The only downsides are : not the best water pressure in the showers, and little to no cell service and weak Wi-Fi….but I don’t think any of those issues are the fault of or fixable by the owners. It’s just the reality of the location. If someone HAS to be able to connect to internet/phone whether for work or whatever, it would be a problem. We adapted and actually enjoyed being disconnected. Great location, amazing setup. We had five people, and it was the perfect size to relax and enjoy the area. Note that if you want to cook in, you will need to come prepared with food. Their is a Walmart about 10 miles away, just need to plan it into your schedule and can pre-order for curb side pick up but no deliveries.

This was a great spot to spend our family vacation. We were able to enjoy the short walk to the beach and the backyard. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were quiet, even with people still up in the great room. We explored the whole peninsula and was able to check out several sandy beaches (driving about 15 min) and a few state parks. The towns were cute and walkable. We will be back for another family trip!

Last minute trip to Door County for family time before daughter and son-in-law leave for Japan for 4 years. Was beautiful and relaxing home and we loved the hammock and full size nook area upstairs. Easy walk to the water and nice fire pit areas. My son-in-law left a vest behind and it was shipped in record time. Would highly recommend.

Private, very clean, dog friendly, updated house in the woods. Included everything we needed for our stay. Lots of games for kids and everything you'd need in kitchen. Nice short walk to view the bay at end of road. But, don't expect to watch much TV or lot of internet use until you get into town.

This place is perfect! Secluded, clean, well stocked, pet friendly, beautiful views!
Everything is top notch- appliances, beds, bathrooms... every light switch clearly labeled.
Note: WiFi is not meant for extensive "surfing" or intense work projects. Who cares-you are up there for vacation anyway!

Our stay was wonderful. This place was everything the listed said and more! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. The beds were super comfortable! Stunning view of the sunset through the trees over the water. The indoor fireplace made for wonderful treat on a chilly spring night! If the weather was nicer, we would have enjoyed an outdoor fire in one of the two firepits available. The place was very clean and tidy. There was a great place to play games as a group, both at the table and in the living room with the couch/chair set up. Added bonus of wifi being available! Also, for those who are fan sleepers there was an overhead fan as well as two additional fans available. We loved it!!

A very charming, well-appointed place to stay! Went to Door County in the dead of winter to stare out some other windows for a while, and this fit the bill!
The house is very close to the water, has a lot of stuff that I imagine would be great in the summer (hammock, fire pit, lawn jenga). We were mostly excited about the reading nook and the fireplace, which we kept going *almost* 24 hours a day. Plenty of cookware, comfortable clean bedrooms, nice space!!

The house was very comfortable and warm. Loved all the windows to watch the wildlife including the deer and to see the snow flurries. It was like we were in a snow globe. There was plenty of firewood and fire starters for fires every night. King bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked including spices. Enjoyed being able to hike through the snow in the woods behind the house and then walked down the road to the frozen lake. Great location for visiting wineries and all the Door County towns. Internet is limited each day, but not a problem at all until we wanted to watch both football games on Sunday, but we used our phone as a hot spot to stream second game and everything worked out great!
